🗞️ | Khaleel Nasrallah writes:

Publicly, Netanyahu talks about “Greater israel.” The Arabs who follow the American lead are upset.

Remember the day when Sayyid Nasrallah spoke about Egypt and Jordan, and the Egyptian Foreign Ministry was annoyed and issued a statement. Here is Netanyahu saying it openly. Netanyahu is not just speaking about what he believes in and strives for so how will you confront him?

By pressuring Lebanon to disarm Hezbollah, for example? What is the strategy of the Arabs, especially the normalizing ones, to confront the “Greater israel” project?

🇾🇪 | Yemeni Government Statement:

We are closely following the recent statements by the israeli criminal Netanyahu regarding the ambitions of so-called “Greater israel.”

These statements once again expose the aggressive, expansionist, and occupational goals that threaten regional security. They confirm what the Revolutionary Leader Sayyed Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi has repeatedly warned of in his speeches that the Zionist entity has never abandoned its plan for “Greater israel.”

The Leader has stressed that the israeli enemy seeks to seize all of Palestine and other Arab lands, working through a gradual and cumulative strategy to achieve these aims.

We warn against the grave danger of Zionist expansion and stress that international silence, alongside American support for the occupation of Palestine, only emboldens these ambitions. Yemen will remain a barrier to the israeli enemy’s reckless goals.

We reaffirm Yemen’s unwavering support for the people of Gaza and its solidarity with the Palestinian struggle until full liberation of their land. The continued aggression against Gaza, paired with explicit expansionist declarations, is a blatant violation of international law.

We call upon Arab and Islamic nations, as well as all free peoples of the world, to unite in confronting this dangerous project.

🇾🇪 | Leader Sayyid Abdul-Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi (H) regarding developments in the aggression against the Gaza Strip and regional and international developments – 20 Safar 1447 AH | 14 August 2025 CE: (1/2):

• The enemies want the nation to be humiliated, submissive to them, and enslaved in every sense of the word.

Arabs subjugating themselves to the israeli enemy is worse and more repugnant than the state in which Arabs used to subjugate themselves to stone idols.

• The acceptance by a nation of hundreds of millions to submit and surrender completely to the israeli enemy is slavery in every sense of the word.

No believer who retains an atom of faith, nor any free human being who retains an atom of humanity and sense of dignity, can accept slavery to the israeli enemy.

• The israeli enemy is tyrannical, corrupt, and misleading, and is an extension of Satan’s movement and its hostilities and evil on earth.

• Our nation must awaken to the reality of the extremely dangerous and utterly deplorable decline in its condition.

• The israeli enemy truly wants to kill Arabs, and this Jewish Zionist slogan expresses their hatred, vision, orientations, and practices.

• Many Arab and Islamic regimes prohibit the chant “Death to israel” to express hostility toward the Zionist entity that began with hostility, hatred, injustice, and criminality, and has targeted our nation, religion, and sanctities.

• The israeli enemy has sought from the beginning to occupy the Gaza Strip, and the new announcement of occupying Gaza City is an effort to target a million Palestinians with killing, harassment, displacement, and destruction of what remains in the city.

• The announcement of occupying Gaza City is an escalatory step within the framework of the continuous horrific crimes against the Palestinian people.

• The enemy’s announcement of this step to occupy Gaza has met with significant condemnation at the global level, but this is not sufficient.

• There must be practical approaches to pressure the israeli enemy to stop its crimes and aggression that primarily targets the Palestinian people.

• The greatest victims in Gaza are civilians defenseless against weapons, while the mujahideen brothers are courageously confronting, and the effect of their effective operations is clear.

• The israeli enemy seeks to displace a million Palestinians from Gaza City.

• The israeli enemy seeks to commit more crimes of genocide and destroy the remaining dwellings in Gaza City in an extremely horrific crime.

• There must be a general approach to prevent the israeli enemy from taking this step.

(2/2):

The mujahideen brothers in the Gaza Strip continue their great heroic jihadi operations in confronting the israeli enemy.

• The Qassam Brigades executed approximately 12 diverse operations in recent days, including sniping, destruction of vehicles, and shelling of enemy concentrations across all fronts.

• Al-Quds Brigades also executed various operations, including shelling with three Jerusalem rockets targeting three settlements and enemy command and control positions.

• There are also operations by other Palestinian factions, and among the most beautiful things we witness in the Gaza Strip is the level of cooperation between the mujahideen factions.

Coordination and cooperation between Palestinian factions is among the most important elements of strength.

• In Syria, the israeli enemy continues its aggressions in all forms, violating agreements with the groups controlling Syria.

• The israeli enemy’s aggressions continue in Syria despite the controlling groups’ commitment to evacuating all military presence from southern Syria.

• The israeli enemy wants southern Syria to be evacuated for its benefit and to remain empty for its use.

• The israeli enemy continues its activity in southern Syria with all forms of aggression as if it owns the territory.

• The israeli enemy conducts military patrols in southern Syria, establishes checkpoints on roads, and searches and raids civilians and their homes.

• The enemy’s course in Syria violates all agreements, thereby proving practically that it does not want peace, but rather wants surrender.

🟩 | Hamas’s political head, Mr. Khalil al-Hayya (H), wrote a letter to the leader of Yemen, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi al-Hasani (H), lauding Yemen’s support for Gaza:

The representative of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas in Yemen, Muadh Abu Shamalah, delivered a written letter from the head of Hamas in Gaza, Khalil al-Hayya, to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Government of Change and Reconstruction, Jamal Amer, in Sana’a. The letter was in response to an earlier message of support that the minister had sent.

In his letter, Mr. Khaleel al-Hayya expressed the movement’s pride in Yemen’s stance, both leadership and people, particularly Ansar Allah, in supporting Palestine and Gaza. He stressed that geographical distance has only deepened Yemen’s closeness and commitment to the nation’s central cause.

During his meeting with Minister Amer at the ministry headquarters in Sana’a, Abu Shamalah also conveyed greetings from the Hamas leadership and fighters to Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi and Field Marshal Mahdi al-Mashat, praising Yemen’s steadfast position despite great sacrifices and ongoing threats.

For his part, the Yemeni Foreign Minister reaffirmed the unity of position with Hamas, calling it a symbol of the nation’s dignity. He praised Gaza’s resilience in the face of aggression and siege, despite the enemy’s attempts to undermine it.

He emphasized that Yemen’s support for the Palestinian people and their resistance will remain firm despite Zionist aggression and offers made by the occupation through intermediaries.

| American, European, israeli, Saudi Arabian, and Turkish miscalculations about Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, and Iran are deeply hollow and strange. It is clear that they are not only committing mistakes but are also unaware of the scenarios, the strength of the regional resistance, and other factors that only the Islamic Republic of Iran and the resistance have endured, simulated, and mastered. The Greater israel plan and the David Corridor agenda will collapse in the near future, the Turkish occupation of Syria will be wiped out, and there will be no Julani in the coming year.

🇮🇷: 🇱🇧 | Al-Mayadeen Channel has released an Important Interview with
The Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council of Iran, Dr. Ali Larijani (H), which was conducted on Thursday evening: (1/6):

Dr. Larijani added: “Netanyahu is an evil person and will not allow stability. In Lebanon, you see him targeting places every day, and in other countries as well. He constantly disturbs states. We saw what he did in Syria, this security chaos he causes in countries is unacceptable.”

In response to Netanyahu’s threat that he is prepared to strike Iran again, Dr. Larijani noted that as long as Netanyahu is in power, there will be no stability or security, which is, of course, a problem. He added: “He manufactures crises for his personal interests.”

He addressed the israeli aggression against Iran, recalling that israel’s objective was to topple the Islamic Republic. He pointed out that they “planned this for 14 years and did not succeed, and their plan was to incite discord in the Republic and bring people to the streets, as Netanyahu himself stated multiple times.”

He told: “Netanyahu thought the Iranian people loved him, but what happened was the opposite of what he imagined,” noting that “even the opposition in Iran stood with the Islamic Republic’s system, which is another defeat.”

He added that the head of the occupation government assumed regional countries would support Israel because of their differences with the Islamic Republic, but this did not happen. He pointed out that “all Islamic countries, despite some existing disagreements, gathered and supported the Republic.”

He continued: “Yes, they managed to assassinate some of our figures and leaders treacherously, which was a deceit,” asking: “But what did they actually achieve?”

He explained: “They destroyed buildings, but their own buildings were also destroyed. If you compare Israel in terms of population, geography, and the destruction caused by Iranian missiles with Iran, you will see that even tactically, it lost.”

He also noted: “The entity always hides its losses, but you know from media reports that Israel became a hell and turned into a Gaza-like situation. Trump himself said Iran, through its missiles, created hell for Netanyahu and that he saved him.” He added: “If you put all this together, you can see there is a strategic defeat for the entity; it started the war and then requested a ceasefire.”

(2/6):

“Resistance is not confined to a sect and we do not dictate to anyone”

Dr. Ali Larijani stressed that resistance is not exclusive to a sect or denomination, but is a collective choice that transcends affiliations, saying: “The truth is that resistance is not limited to Shia or Sunni. Resistance is for everyone; it is not sectarian.”

He reminded that it includes all Lebanese components, citing: “When Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah was martyred, everyone participated. So resistance is not only for Muslims; Christians also participated.” He added: “Resistance was not limited to Shia and Sunni; there was a Christian stream participating.”

Dr. Larijani noted that Iran supports resistance movements regardless of their sectarian background, highlighting support for Hamas (“Sunni resistance”) and Hezbollah (“Shia resistance”), proving that Iran’s position is not sectarian, and those who question it “have not understood the Islamic Republic’s choices,” and can observe the facts on the ground.

Regarding Iran’s role in supporting regional resistance movements, Dr. Larijani said Tehran does not change its positions based on circumstances, adding: “We believe resistance is a major asset for the Islamic nation, and wherever it exists, we must assist it, but we do not use that as a pretext for intervention.”

He emphasized that “Islamic resistance has sufficient capacity to make its own decisions. We do not interfere in its decisions, nor in those of states,” clarifying that Tehran presents its viewpoint openly and provides advice to resistance movements without imposing or dictating decisions.

Dr. Larijani noted that prominent figures within Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Hezbollah today “analyze matters well, have excellent ideas, and do not need anyone’s intervention.”

“We do not intervene in the internal affairs of states”

Regarding discussions on weapons with the Presidents and Prime Minister, Dr. Larijani explained that Tehran conveyed its general perspective on resistance, stressing that Iran does not interfere in the affairs of states.

He confirmed that states decide according to their own vision after consulting different factions, adding: “We do not hide our point of view; we state it clearly, but we do not want any misunderstandings.”

He warned that some parties might exploit certain statements maliciously: “Some political devils may hide behind individuals and launch biased concepts.”

When asked about his personal impression of President Michel Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, Larijani said: “Every state elects its leaders according to its own will, and we must adapt and deal with different figures.”

He added: “We do not expect everyone to be like us, but in the international community, we must find ways to cooperate, communicate, and deal with different orientations, which is the essence of diplomacy.”

Dr. Larijani also invoked a saying of the late martyr Modarres, a symbol of Iran’s Constitutional Revolution about a century ago: “It is fine for politicians to differ in opinion, but these differences must not turn into enmity,” emphasizing that “growth and progress come from dialogue.”

“Speaker Nabih Berri is a man of the difficult era, with long experience”

Dr. Larijani described Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri as “one of the great political figures in Lebanon and the Arab world,” noting that he possesses “political acumen, extensive experience, and great expertise.” He said Berri “is a key element in the issue of resistance and knows well how to act under all circumstances.”

He mentioned that the meeting with Berri involved exchanging viewpoints: “We heard his perspective, which reflects comprehensive and deep knowledge, and we saw that what he said opens the door to advance solutions in Lebanon.”

Dr. Larijani noted that Berri proposed suggestions regarding regional affairs, especially cooperation among Islamic countries to resolve difficult issues in Lebanon and elsewhere, explaining: “He has always offered such advice, and I benefited from his viewpoints and counsel.”

Dr. Larijani said: “He is a man of the difficult era, and just as he successfully navigated previous challenging phases, he will overcome this phase too. I believe he has valuable ideas to resolve matters.”

“Developments in Syria surprised everyone… building relations depends on actions of the current authority”

In his first candid statement from an Iranian official about the Syrian situation, Dr. Larijani revealed that his visit to Damascus prior to the fall of the regime was at the invitation of President Bashar al-Assad to discuss a specific issue, not based on any assumption of imminent state collapse.

Asked whether he expected at that time that Assad’s rule or the Ba’ath Party’s rule was in its final moments, Dr. Larijani said: “I do not think even those who attacked Syria thought they could topple the Syrian regime. What happened was entirely different.”

He explained that events accelerated rapidly during that period, saying:

“Generally, events in the last two years were extremely fast, which is the specificity of this stage.” He noted that developments in Syria surprised everyone, pointing out that “no one, whether in Russia or countries supporting the Syrian regime, expected things to proceed this fast and create such chaos.”

Regarding the possibility of building relations with Syria, Dr. Larijani said: “The possibility exists, and we do not say it is impossible, but it depends on what we observe from the actions of the current Syrian regime.”

He added that the situation in Syria is currently chaotic and unclear, which is not the situation Iran desires, pointing to increasing Israeli interference, which he described as “behavior we do not favor in Syria.”

He emphasized that there is a rational possibility of restoring relations if circumstances change in the future.

Regarding his first foreign trips as Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Dr. Larijani explained that he chose Iraq and Lebanon due to the historical nature of Iran’s relationship and cooperation with these countries.

On why he chose an Arab tour covering Iraq and Lebanon rather than other regional countries with hot issues, he said: “Our region is almost entirely sensitive, with many events; we must communicate with everyone, and there are countries we must visit, including countries north of Iran.”

He added: “I chose Iraq and Lebanon because they are friends, and we have cooperated with them for many years. We have longstanding and close relations with Lebanon and Iraq, and I needed to visit them to discuss regional developments.”

“Egypt is an important country in the region, and communication is ongoing”

Regarding rapprochement and visits between Tehran and Cairo, Dr. Larijani affirmed that communication with Egypt is continuous and that Tehran has no obstacle preventing the development of relations, adding: “Discussions with our brothers in Egypt are ongoing, and the relationship is good and beneficial. There are no problems, but if the U.S. interferes, that is another matter,” noting that Iran and Egypt have “common enemies,” and suggesting Americans might create obstacles to hinder this rapprochement.

He added: “The international arena is full of problems and variables.”

He described Egypt as an important country in the region, with an honorable history, great civilization, and many scholars. He said: “Egypt is currently a large, strong, and excellent country in the Arab world, and we have no issues with it.”

Asked whether he plans to visit Cairo, Larijani said: “Not now, but possibly in the future if a specific task arises.”

“We welcome deepening relations with Saudi Arabia and Arab countries”

Larijani said in the interview that Tehran-Riyadh relations began well after the agreement to resume relations mediated by China, stressing the need to deepen this relationship despite differences in some files.

He said: “It is true that there was a good start with Saudi Arabia, and we should deepen this relationship. I do not claim we agree with them on all matters, but I believe we can deepen and expand the relationship. The agreement is good and can guide cooperation within its framework.”

Asked about a concrete plan to resolve differences between Iran and Arab countries, particularly Saudi Arabia, on issues like Lebanon and Yemen, Larijani said: “I definitely prefer we resolve all regional issues through dialogue with them, and with countries like Saudi Arabia and Egypt.”

He added: “I do not think there are major disagreements, just differences in mechanisms and perspectives. The solution is dialogue. They are our friends and brothers, as are all Islamic countries, and I see this as beneficial.”

“No fruitful negotiations if Washington sticks to force”

Regarding nuclear negotiations, Dr. Larijani stressed that Tehran does not see U.S. negotiations as capable of yielding real results if Washington continues to rely on the logic of “peace through force.”

Regarding claims that after Iran’s victory in the last war against Israel it has become regionally stronger than even the United States, Larijani asked: “Will America be sincere in these negotiations? Do its proposals in Lebanon or Iraq truly consider the interests of the people there?”

He emphasized that the U.S. theory of imposing peace through force means either surrender or war, which is ineffective. He added that countries with self-respect and internal power and status will not submit.

He noted that Iran has never and will never surrender, and negotiations are meaningful only when the other party realizes it cannot achieve its objectives through war. He stressed: “Negotiations yield nothing if the other side believes it can impose its will by force.”

Dr. Larijani rejected the idea that the gateway to Arab countries passes through the United States, saying: “We do not believe in that, and we do not see that a country’s interest lies solely in relying on the U.S.”

He added that some Arab countries, despite their alliance with Washington, do not fully trust it. Some of their officials have expressed a desire to diversify relations with other countries, like China and Iran, even if publicly maintaining close ties with the U.S.

Responding to the idea that the U.S. remains the superpower and some Arab states see benefit in relations with it, Dr. Larijani said: “Perhaps Washington creates some obstacles, but between zero and one hundred, there are many options. Americans cannot entirely sever our relations with Arab countries; these relations may not reach the highest level, but they remain active and useful.”

“Imam Sayyid Ali Khamenei changed the equation with wisdom and firm management during the war”

Dr. Larijani said that Ayatollah Ali Khamenei played a pivotal role in the last U.S.-israeli war, affirming that he “tipped the balance of confrontation.”

He noted that despite the targeting and assassination of many Iranian leaders at the start of the war, Imam Khamenei quickly compensated for these losses within hours, adding that his address to the Iranian people clarified the importance of the phase and nature of the confrontation. His calm and decisive demeanor was crucial in changing the equation.

Dr. Larijani added that the firm response to U.S. threats of non-surrender came through Imam Khamenei’s guidance, which empowered the Iranian army to respond forcefully and courageously, pointing out that missile strikes on Israeli targets were fully supported by the supreme leadership.

Regarding his practical role, Dr. Larijani confirmed that Imam Khamenei led the armed forces from the operations room, providing guidance and managing affairs comprehensively, demonstrating the forces’ ability to continue operations even under the assassination of key leaders.

Dr. Larijani also revealed that he personally received direct assassination threats from Israel’s Mossad on the first day of the battle via telephone and responded appropriately, noting: “This reflects the nature of the confrontation and the pressures we faced.”

Visit to Lebanon after the martyrdom of Sayyid Nasrallah and his lasting legacy

In discussing the nation’s martyr, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, Dr. Larijani affirmed: “His memory never leaves him, day or night,” describing him as a great man and a unique figure who will not be repeated.
