🇮🇶 | As expected, the US is now officially using a pre-fabricated and likely false-flag narrative through its regional assets to target the resistance front. United States has threatened to impose sanctions on the Baghdad government if it “fails to contain attacks” on Kurdish-controlled regions, particularly the oil fields in Kirkuk and Nineveh. Meanwhile, Erbil has accused Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) of launching drone attacks on strategic sites in the Kurdish region over the past few months which is a fabrication.

| This day is one of the most important days for the resistance in Lebanon and indeed for the Islamic world, the supporters of the resistance, the cause of Palestine, and the entire Shia world. All narratives and scenarios must be taken from the official stance of Hezbollah and the Amal Movement and nothing else.

Al-Jazeera (Takfiri), Hadath (fully Zionist), Al Arabiya (Zionist), and Al Jadeed are not trusted media channels, and their propaganda must be treated the same as the official channels of the Israeli army. We must be aware that Hezbollah and Amal will take the decision wisely and move forward. There are threats, but there is no such event as of now, we are trying to pour out opinions over theirs and sharing unnecessary happenings on the roads in favor of the resistance.

Things need time for clarity, and we will wait for the official stance of Hezbollah and Amal not anything from media or individual figures.

On the Lebanese hostages illegally detained in "israeli" occupation prisons:

According to al-Akhbar's Amal Khalil, on July 28, Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received a delegation from the Southern Lebanese town of Chebaa at the Grand Serail. According to a statement issued by the Grand Serail, the delegation asked the Prime Minister to follow up on Maher Hamdan's case, a shepherd who was taken hostage by the "israeli" occupation forces, and the latter promised to do so. However, the rest of the report states that Salam told the delegation that he was unaware of the presence of a prisoner from Chebaa!
The estimated number of Lebanese hostages in the occupation prisons, according to al-Akhbar, is 16 prisoners, 10 of whom are civilians, and 6 members of Hezbollah. However, this number is likely to increase, not only because the occupation forces continue to detain residents of the border area, but also because of the possibility that there are still living prisoners who were previously reported missing, especially after the enemy announced the establishment of the "Rakevet" wing within Ayalon Prison for "dangerous prisoners from Hamas and Hezbollah's Radwan forces."
International Red Cross delegates in Lebanon informed the families of the Lebanese hostages that they had no information about the detainees because their colleagues in the occupied Jerusalem office “have not met with the Lebanese due to the siege imposed on them by the occupation authorities.” Meanwhile, informed sources reported that “"israel" insists on not providing any answers to inquiries related to the hostages and missing persons - whether from the United States, UNIFIL, or the Red Cross - because every piece of information comes at a price in the context of its conflict with Hezbollah.”
Any information acquired about the hostages has been known through other hostages who were released at different times. The fate of many, such as Ali Tarhini (19 years old, from Jebchit), who was arrested by the occupation forces after sustaining gunshot wounds to his back, stomach, and feet, which caused him paralysis, according to freed hostage Hussein Kteish, remains unknown.
The most mysterious fate is that of Hussein Karaki (from Khirbet Selem), who was arrested with bullet wounds all over his body that he had sustained while participating in the liberation of his mother's hometown, Markaba, on January 26. His mother, Tamara Ch'himi, was martyred alongside him, and he was taken to an unknown location. Some prisoners who were released after a short detention said they saw him at the Abbad detention center on the outskirts of Houla. Others speculated that he had been martyred.
The fate of the hostages remains unknown, and their families are left with no answers. From their arrest at the start of the ground incursion until after the ceasefire, attempts to create a map of their locations resemble putting puzzle pieces together, based on the testimonies of released prisoners. There is no official account of their final numbers, their places of detention, or their conditions.

🟨 Breaking — Shaykh Naim Qassim (H):

What is the roadmap for building Lebanon and establishing stability in it? We consider that there must be 3 basic principles for building Lebanon: the first is participation and cooperation, the second is setting priorities that establish the Lebanese reality and not being distracted by external demands, and the third is not submitting to guardianship.

For 8 months, the party and the resistance have committed with the government, the army, and all concerned parties, and no violation has been mentioned regarding non-compliance with the Lebanese army and the concerned authorities.

The ceasefire agreement was concluded indirectly and highlighted close and distinguished cooperation between the resistance and the state, and one of the highest forms of cooperation is that the resistance facilitated for the state what was included in the agreement. israel turned against the agreement and did not adhere to it, and what happened in Syria greatly affected the measures taken by "israel" where it regretted drafting the agreement. What Barak did was entirely in "israel's" interest.

🟨 | Full Speech of Shaykh Naim Qassim (H) today: [05/08/2025]

Bismillah...

Haj Ramadhan [Saeed Izaadi] said about the “Al-Aqsa Flood” operation:

“It is a miracle that no resistance in the world has achieved,” and he said: “Quds elevates and honors those who support and serve it.” This is his outlook, an outlook shaped fundamentally by the methodology of Imam Khomeini (r), who used to say about the Israeli entity that it is a “cancerous Zionist gland.”

And as you know, cancer spreads in a malignant way, affecting everything around it, and it kills and spreads insidiously. There is no solution for cancer except its eradication. This was the vision of Imam Khomeini (r), who from the very first moment worked to support the Palestinian cause practically and procedurally: through organizations, through the Quds Force, through the army of twenty million, through the transformation of the Israeli embassy into a Palestinian embassy, and through the declaration of International Quds Day. All of this action by Imam Khomeini was because he saw the support of Palestine as a priority above all else.

This same path was continued by Imam Khamenei said: “Outspoken defense of oppressed peoples, especially the Palestinian people, was among the top priorities of Imam Khomeini’s approach also said: “The issue of Gaza is not about a piece of land, and the issue of Palestine is not a geographical one; it is a human issue.”

This is the view of the Supreme Leader, the view of our leadership, which sees that Palestine surpasses the geographic matter and becomes an issue of humanity, morality, religion, education, and a global concern. This is what makes it everyone’s responsibility to support Palestine.

Al-Haj Ramadan had an excellent relationship with Hezbollah, and with His Eminence, the master of the martyrs of the nation, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah (r). He knew all the leaders in Hezbollah and also participated in the July 2006 war, in the Battle of Awwal al-Baas. He came to Lebanon two days after the assassination of His Eminence, the master of the martyrs of the nation, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah. He put himself at Hezbollah’s disposal. He was a lover of Hezbollah, of the resistance, of Sayyed Hassan, and of all those working in the path of God Almighty.

Al-Haj Ramadan was distinguished by important personal qualities: he was a believer, a gnostic (‘irfani), a lover of Imam Khomeini and of Imam Khamenei. He was humble yet firm at the same time, dignified, noble-spirited, and had a particularly deep concern and affection for the children of martyrs.

He was martyred on June 21, 2025, in the holy city of Qom in Iran. The enemy’s Minister of War said about the assassination: “The assassination of Muhammad Saeed Izadi is one of the most prominent achievements of the war on Iran.”

May Allah have mercy on you, O martyred general, O inspiring leader, Al-Haj Ramadan, martyr of Palestine. To his soul and the souls of all martyrs, we dedicate the reward of the blessed surah Al-Fatiha, accompanied by prayers upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad.

Before I speak about the political situation, I pause at the great disaster that occurred on August 4 five years ago in the port explosion, and what it led to in terms of victims, wounded, destruction, pain, and the ruin of many people’s lives. Beyond that, it left a deep wound in Lebanon, for its citizens and all those who love it.

We call for the acceleration of trials and investigations, away from the politicization that has delayed the outcome until now. We hope that this stage will be one of swift progress away from politicization, sectarianism, ready-made accusations, and foreign directives so that the people may know the truth, and we may reach the correct outcome: that the perpetrator be punished and the innocent exonerated. But this file must reach a good conclusion and result. in sha Allah, mercy to all the victims, healing to the wounded, and patience and solace to the bereaved families who lost their children and loved ones.

—Part of Shaykh Naim Qassim's speech:

I will speak on five points regarding the political situation:

First: What is the roadmap for building Lebanon and ensuring stability within it? We believe that three fundamental pillars are necessary for building Lebanon:

First pillar: That we participate and cooperate within the framework of national unity, so that we are united in heart for Lebanon’s renaissance, that means participation and cooperation.

Second: That we set the priorities that shape and impact the foundational structure of the Lebanese reality, and not get distracted by superficial matters or external demands.

Third: Not to submit to American or non-American guardianship, because such submission nullifies our capabilities and our achievements, and leads us in the wrong direction.

Therefore, we believe that building Lebanon requires these three principles:

• Participation and cooperation,
• Setting real priorities,
• And refusing foreign guardianship, whether international or Arab.

The agreement that was made on November 27, 2024, was an indirect agreement to stop the Israeli aggression and the consequences of that ceasefire. It was made between the Lebanese state and the Israeli enemy indirectly.

This agreement demonstrated close and exceptional cooperation between the resistance and the state. It was one of the highest forms of cooperation: the resistance facilitated all the procedures required of the state within the agreement, without causing disputes, delays, problems, or incidents.

On the contrary, for eight months, Hezbollah and the resistance in general fully abided by the state’s procedures; cooperating with the Lebanese government, the Lebanese army, the presidency, and all concerned parties. There was not a single recorded violation against the Israeli enemy, nor any violation in responding to the Lebanese army or cooperating with the Lebanese state.

This is a model of how the resistance can cooperate with the state when there is consensus, cooperation, shared belief, and united heart.

In contrast, israel reneged on the agreement. It did not abide by it and committed thousands of violations. Let me be frank: what happened in Syria had a major impact on the measures Israel began to take. They regretted drafting the agreement, considering that it gave Lebanon and Hezbollah too much power and allowed the continuation of their strength inside Lebanon. So they thought, “No, let’s continue like we do in Syria. Let’s do the same in Lebanon.” In other words, they want to change the agreement though they never respected it in the first place.

Lebanon’s interest lies in restoring sovereignty, independence, and liberation.

israel’s interest lies in weakening Lebanon so that it can control its path.

Today, as officials, resistance, people, army, and all concerned, we must seek Lebanon’s interest not israel’s.

America came forward not to propose a new agreement. Those who examine the memorandum brought by Barak will find that it’s not an agreement at all. It’s a set of dictations: a plan to strip Hezbollah and all of Lebanon of its strength, to dismantle the resistance, and to disarm the people essentially leaving Lebanon fully exposed to the Israeli entity.

What Barak brought is entirely for israel’s benefit.

I want to mention some excerpts from the third memorandum, which is worse than the first and second.

Barak’s memorandum to the Lebanese government says:

“Phase Two spans from Day 15 to Day 60.”

In the first 15 days, under the title of “ceasefire” and similar terms pure Arab-style rhetoric.

From Day 15 to Day 60: disarmament.

They give examples to be clear: mortars, rocket launchers, hand grenades and explosives, incendiary rocket devices, air-to-ground and ground-to-ground missiles, weapons that cause mass casualties, biological and chemical weapons, and drones; all of which must be dismantled across the entire country within 30 days. So, between Day 15 and Day 30 (i.e., by Day 45), all capabilities must have been dismantled and handed over to the Lebanese state.

These are not heavy weapons. They’re not even medium.

They want the hand grenade. They want the mortar, which is considered a basic, simple weapon something tribes and various groups handle like bread.

We carry pistols but they carry RPGs and such mortars and grenades.
They’re saying all these must be dismantled within 30 days.

Better yet put quotation marks around this because someone might say, “It’s hard to dismantle all this in 30 days.”
They said: “No, thanks to Allah, they are reasonable and understand.”

So they demand that 50% of the infrastructure be dismantled by Day 30.

One military leader told me during a conversation:

“I asked them, ‘Who knows what constitutes 50%?’”

He himself didn’t know what 100% was.

So this is a trap because later, they’ll tell you: “You haven’t reached 50% yet.”

Even if you dismantle 99%, they’ll still say: “You haven’t reached 50%.”
We know the israelis; we know how they operate.

Then what?

If all of this is done, where do we arrive? Day 45.

israel then begins to withdraw from the five designated points.

Begins. It will “facilitate” withdrawal from three of the points.

Success in Phase Three depends on this.

They say: since there are five points, Israel will withdraw from all five but to begin with, they’ll withdraw from at least three, so we can move to Phase Three (Day 60–90).

And only then will discussion begin on the release of prisoners.

What is this called? This is called stripping Lebanon of its military capacity by stripping its resistance and by preventing the Lebanese army from possessing any weapons except to perform internal functions that have no impact on Israel whatsoever. This is what is being demanded to be implemented.

Even if we hypothetically accepted that this memorandum proceeds, what if Israel doesn’t even implement this worthless proposal?

They said: “There are consequences for violations,” meaning if Israel or Lebanon violates the agreement.
So what are the consequences of an Israeli violation? They said: “A condemnation from the UN Security Council and a review of non-engagement policies.”

It’s like the proverb: “They told the liar to swear, he said: ‘By God, it came to me.’”

—Part of Shaykh Naim Qassim's speech:

Are we now betting on American and israeli honesty?

If we ask them to swear, will everything suddenly be okay? Are they offering guarantees?

In any case, the Americans are already saying: “There are no guarantees.”
What do we do if israel crosses its limits? File a complaint at the UN? Be our guest!

In the end, you’re saying: “israel’s hands remain untied even when we give all these concessions!”

In contrast, what happens to Lebanon if it fails to comply?

They said: “Freezing of conditional military aid and economic sanctions.”
But you’ve already destroyed Lebanon with economic sanctions and withheld military aid since 2019 until now. You gave us nothing.

America has distanced itself from anything related to the israeli entity. What aid has America provided? What aid have Arab states or others provided? Has anyone given anything?

So what is the memorandum really asking for?

That Lebanon be stripped of its power in exchange for a partial, uncertain israeli withdrawal, and for negotiations under a skewed balance of power.

The path we agreed to in the first agreement where is it now?

It means the first agreement has been cancelled, Israel has been absolved of all its violations, and now we’ve entered a new tunnel called a “new agreement.”

We do not agree to any new agreement outside the existing agreement between the Lebanese state and the israeli entity.

Let them implement the original agreement first, then we can talk about whatever else they want.

Second point:

Any timeline that is presented under the shadow of ongoing Israeli aggression has nothing to do with Lebanon and cannot be accepted.
Why? Because a timeline implies commitment while aggression continues.

How can you set a schedule with deadlines while israel hasn’t done a single thing in return?

Are we being asked to enter negotiations or to surrender our weapons without any discussion of national security or a defensive strategy?

That is unacceptable. Lebanon cannot be expected to gradually relinquish its strength while the enemy keeps all the power in its hands.

Third point:

What are they telling us now?
They say: “We need to remove the pretexts (for war).”

Why? Because there’s foreign pressure, sanctions, and lack of funding.

Did they ever provide anything to us in the first place?

And even if we were funded, what is the point if we’ve lost sovereignty, if our decisions are dictated, and if part of our land is still occupied?
What’s the benefit of this funding they might offer us?

There is no benefit. Because we will have become pawns, followers, and slaves. We refuse to be slaves to anyone not to America, not to certain Arab regimes, not to any creature on the face of the earth.

They say: “There’s foreign pressure? They’ll cut off funding?”

Let them! They’re withholding it already!

Have they ever given us anything?

Every time they say: “After you comply, we’ll give.”

So no one has the right to surrender to this.

Let them threaten all they want.

They say: “There’s fear of war, of escalating aggression.”

Let me ask you:

Why is israel now opting for limited strikes and American political pressure instead of launching a full-scale war?

Because it is not in israel’s interest to start a full-scale war.

Because if it does, the resistance will fight, the army will fight, the people will fight.

That defense will lead to missiles falling inside the israeli entity.

All the “security” they’ve built over the last 8 months will collapse in a single hour.

How long will they need to rebuild it?

That’s why it’s in their interest not to go to war, to avoid the reaction of the resistance and of national defense.
That’s how they are thinking.

So let no one scare you too much though, yes, at any moment, they might launch a wide-scale aggression.

But if you give them everything, will the aggression stop?

No. It won’t.

Because they hold all the cards.

On the contrary if we’re left with nothing, then the opportunity for aggression and criminal action becomes greater than ever.

—Part of Shaykh Naim Qassim's 05/08/2025's speech:

If we’re left defenseless who will protect Lebanon and its people?

Did you not hear what Finance Minister Smotrich said? He is a key figure in the israeli government.

He says: “The Israeli army will not withdraw from the five positions in South Lebanon, and the villages destroyed by the Israeli army in South Lebanon will not be rebuilt.”

He’s saying this to you plainly. Meanwhile, some among us say: “No, that’s not the case, this is just talk…”

How is this just talk?

Everything they said, they did.
And everything they didn’t say; they’re doing.

So, if a stable Lebanon is something the outside world cares about and they want Lebanon to be stable then rest assured: they will yield when Lebanon proves itself.

But if Lebanon’s stability means nothing to them, then no matter what we offer, it will mean nothing.
Therefore, no one should gamble on the idea that this issue depends on what we provide.

Today they offer very limited support to the Lebanese army. Why?
Because they believe that this level of support is just enough for internal matters. But when it comes to israel, this isn’t considered support.

In 2019, the protests began, and change began in Lebanon.
From 2019 until today, what have they been telling us?

“Implement [our conditions], and we’ll give you [aid]. Do what you’re told, and we’ll grant you something.”

America has exhausted Lebanon, along with some Arab countries, under the slogan: “Implement, and we will provide.”

Today we have a President of the Republic, a government, and institutions being built, and a relatively stable internal situation.

The core crisis today is the result of Israeli aggression.

This brings us back to the ministerial statement, because we always hear: “Let’s return to the ministerial statement,” as if the resistance is demanding positions outside of the state’s position.

What does the ministerial statement say?

The third paragraph says:

“The first of the goals the government sets before its eyes, and the highest mission it will dedicate itself to achieving, is the establishment of a state of law in all its elements, the reform of its institutions, and the strengthening of its sovereignty.”

So tell us, O government:

Where are you working to strengthen sovereignty?

What practical measures have you taken to reinforce sovereignty?

Is surrendering weapons a form of sovereignty?

Is submitting to israel sovereignty?

Is handing over arms to Israel at the request of America and some Arab states what’s required in this phase?

Does this lead to Lebanese sovereignty?

Then comes the fourth paragraph, which says:

“The state we seek is one that fully assumes responsibility for the country’s security and for defending its borders and frontiers, a state that deters aggressors, protects its citizens, and safeguards its independence.”

So where is the deterrence of israel?

Where is the state that protects Lebanon from disaster?

Where is the state’s responsibility in facing the Israeli enemy?

Where is the defense of borders and frontiers?

You tell us you are incapable.

Well, if you are incapable, don’t incapacitate yourselves further.

You say you can’t, we say: take your time, let us build capability.

Let us create a military plan so the army can have the necessary capacity, human resources, and power to face the Israeli enemy if it attacks us or continues to occupy our land.

Now, in your ministerial statement’s fourth paragraph, you say you want to defend borders and frontiers, and that the state deters aggressors.

Show me your plan for deterrence.

Give me your timetable for deterrence.

Show me your concrete steps for deterrence.

Where are they?

It’s been eight months and there has been no deterrence.

In the fifth paragraph, the Prime Minister always proudly cites it, and rightfully so, because it’s a very important paragraph.

We all proudly cite it along with him, because it comes from the Ta’if Constitution.

What does the Ta’if Accord say?

+

—Part of Shaykh Naim Qassim's speech:

We all proudly cite it along with him, because it comes from the Ta’if Constitution.

What does the Ta’if Accord say?

The government is committed, in accordance with the National Accord Document agreed upon in Ta’if this is written in the statement to taking all necessary measures to liberate all Lebanese territory from Israeli occupation and to extend the sovereignty of the state over all its land.

The first thing you must do to liberate Lebanese land.

What does “all necessary measures” mean?

It means the army, the people, the resistance, and the political parties.

When the country is under threat, all forces are responsible for defending it and confronting the threat.

So, in the very heart of Ta’if, and in the core of the National Accord Document, which you yourselves included in the ministerial statement the one we all agreed upon; you say:

“To take all necessary measures to liberate all Lebanese land from Israeli occupation.”

So show us:

Where are these measures being taken?

Where is the action that proves we have the capacity to confront the
israeli enemy?

The state must develop plans to confront pressure and threats and ensure protection; not strip its citizens of their power and capacity, not strip the resistance of its strength, and not surrender the sources of power that enable it to negotiate, resist, stabilize, liberate land, and establish true sovereignty for Lebanon. This is the responsibility the state must assume. That means going to the Council of Ministers and placing an item on the agenda: how do we confront israeli aggression and protect sovereignty? What are the practical steps? What is the timeline for achieving that? What are the elements of strength we can leverage? How can we involve parties, forces, sects, the people, and all concerned actors in the process of defending Lebanon? How do we stand united to expel israel? How do we increase pressure on the israeli enemy through its complicit sponsors or any other available path? This is what must be done: we need a concrete program and a clear timeline.

This must be the priority, not rushing to disarm just to please israel. It is not our priority to hand over our weapons simply because the Americans or some Arab state are pressuring us with all they’ve got. What do you want with israel anyway? Even if it stays, where is the sovereignty? Who are you working for? If you’re working for Lebanon, if you claim to support Lebanon, then you must first call for an end to the aggression, for the expulsion of the israeli occupation, for the start of reconstruction, and for the release of prisoners; after that, come and speak to us about whatever you want, we are ready.

Let me say this clearly: the resistance is part of the Ta’if Accord; it is explicitly mentioned as one of the necessary measures to protect Lebanon. A constitutional matter cannot be put to a vote. A constitutional matter requires consensus and the participation of all social components in mutual understanding over shared issues. Just like the abolition of political sectarianism requires broad national agreement, and just as the idea of abolishing “numbers-based representation” in favor of sectarian distribution that reassures communities is a foundational matter, so too is the resistance against israel a foundational matter; one to be decided by consensus.

So let us discuss a national security strategy and a defense strategy. National security goes beyond the issue of weapons. It includes the consideration of Lebanon’s strength, the accumulation of strength, the gathering of capabilities, the ability to defend, and the ability to confront the israeli enemy.

A strategy is not a timetable for disarmament. We were waiting for the day when, as the resistance, we could sit with those concerned and discuss the very concept of national security strategy. But it seems they have shelved that idea entirely and the only subject now is: “Give us your weapons, and don’t talk about national security.” That’s unacceptable.

We consider ourselves an essential pillar of Lebanon’s structure, and the approach must be revised.
Third, we are committed to maintaining cooperation with the three presidents. We’re committed to dialogue, understanding, and partnership. No one should pressure anyone. No one should claim they’re under pressure and then turn around and pressure us from within. No one is being squeezed. In the end, each of us knows what benefits Lebanon, and that is what we must do.

You cannot justify pressure from abroad by pushing us to surrender rights and sovereignty. That is a false and dangerous move. We and you must stand together. Tell the West, tell the Americans, tell everyone applying pressure: We have foundations in Lebanon, and we want to come to terms among ourselves; you cannot impose your will on us. We must also beware of those who incite internal strife, of those whose hands are stained with blood, and of those who serve the israeli project both inside and outside Lebanon.

I urge you not to waste time getting swept up in the storms stirred by foreign diktats. Today, the entire country is entangled, from top to bottom no one is at ease because Barak came to us and threw down the first, second, and third papers. Where do you stand? What’s going on? Every time someone speaks, or an Arab official comes and tells the Lebanese officials: “Do this… or else…” — what does “or else” mean? “Or else no money?” (May the money never come!) Who are you to think you can buy us with money? What are you saying?

This is a country; a country where sacrifices have been made, where blood has been shed. What concerns Lebanon, we discuss it here in Lebanon. No one inside this country has the right to dictate to us what we as Lebanese choose to do. No one can impose on us. We are not seeking to make agreements with anyone from outside; we seek to come to agreement among ourselves for the sake of our sovereignty and independence.

As Lebanese, we will arrange our internal affairs through cooperation and understanding. Let everyone understand this clearly: there will be no solution without consensus. This is a strategic, foundational matter. Let them implement the agreement, and we will pursue Lebanon’s interests through consensus through the institutions, and with the army and the resistance as an inseparable part of this national fabric. I tell you today: the Lebanese state is capable of standing firmly and affirming to the international community that it alone is responsible for both its southern and eastern borders. Let them address the Lebanese state. If anything happens on either border, the last eight months are proof that the Lebanese state has had full control.

Nothing has happened on the southern front, and on the eastern border, the state managed the situation, prevented massacres, conflicts, and complications in those villages. The Lebanese state continues to fulfill its internal responsibilities fully. Tell the world this: if the aim is to ensure that Lebanon poses no threat to anyone, then it is the Lebanese state that guarantees protection of its borders and sovereignty. It bears responsibility for what happens within its territory, and from within, it can stand up before the world. You already have a living example of this.

Let the international community hold Lebanon accountable if it fails but the international community has no right to interfere by demanding that Lebanon deliver the goals israel failed to achieve through war. No;no one can strip Lebanon of its strength, which defends its sovereignty, policy, and capabilities. No one can stop Lebanon from being dignified and proud. Etch this into your minds; let it be your foundational principle.

—Part of Shaykh Naim Qassim's speech: [05/08/2025]

We are a people who have given, who have sacrificed. The Lebanese have given. The army has given. The people have sacrificed greatly. No one has the right to come now and act as though they are doing us a favor by “compensating us” with safety; that time has passed. Fourth, those who made the sacrifices and liberated the land are more patriotic than those who tampered with the country and killed its people. No one should act now as if they are pure and righteous, or try to play the role of some immaculate, virtuous figure. No, everyone has a known history, and our history is known too. Our history is rooted in the legacy of the Master of the Martyrs of the Nation, Sayyid Hassan Nasrallah, may Allah be pleased with him, who passed into the presence of Allah as a great, brave, selfless martyr, who gave not just to Palestine, not just to Lebanon, but to all humanity, what few others have. We carry this legacy of sacrifice.

We carry Sayyid al-Hashimi. We carry the memory of our martyred leaders. We carry the burden of five thousand martyrs from the Al-Aqsa Flood and Uli’ al-Ba’s battles. Thirteen thousand wounded, the devastation, the displacement all of it was endured to halt the aggression. And we did stop the aggression.

They asked us: “What did you achieve?”

We stopped the war.

That aggression was heading to Beirut. It wanted to take everything.

It aimed to change Lebanon’s nature, its presence, its geography, its strategic role, its future.

It was the resistance, the army, and the people who stopped israel from achieving those goals with the immense sacrifices they made.

You ask me: Did this resistance make things more difficult for us? No — absolutely not. The resistance is strong, proud, faithful, and determined to remain sovereign in its own land, and to ensure that Lebanon is sovereign, independent, and dignified. The resistance’s supporters are steadfast, resilient, patient. Its fighters are ready for the ultimate sacrifices and everyone knows this.

As for the great crown and the high banner yesterday, Monday, I was watching a segment on Al-Manar TV about the wounded from Pager terrorist Attack. Are those people just wounded? No they are heroes. They are dignified. They are living martyrs. They are witnesses standing in defiance of the cowards. The wounded of Pager Attack, and all our wounded, are people of vision, people of resolve. Did you hear their words? Imagine a sister who has lost her eyesight but sees with her heart, her mind, her faith, and her courage saying she wants to specialize in artificial intelligence, and finishes high school with very good distinction.

What strength, what determination! Or another who scores very good and says he wants to study psychology to serve others.

Each of them carries a different flag, but they are united by their will, their faith, and their unbreakable spirit. If israel thinks our wounded are out of the fight; no.

Our wounded are burning with purpose. Our wounded are giving. Our wounded are advancing. By Allah, these are truly remarkable souls.

I want to tell you today to the wounded of Pager Attack, and to all the wounded, I hope you’ll accept me as a companion on this shared path, walking it together. There can be no path forward without you. This journey shines because of you. You, the wounded, the living martyrs, the givers when someone hears you speak, they say: these are thinkers, philosophers, lovers of Allah, people with exceptional insight, distinguished clarity, deep belief in wilaya, lovers of Muhammad and the family of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon them all.

This model cannot be defeated, cannot lose. And to those who want to know what we have, we have these wounded who succeeded in their exams. I want to congratulate all the students who passed their exams, from all sects, regions, and communities but truly, the high achievements of the Pager Attack's wounded, scoring good and very good, is a huge and meaningful accomplishment.

We also have Lebanon’s honorable nationalists. Don’t think resistance is just Hezbollah and Amal; resistance includes political parties, figures from various sects, from different political currents; secular, religious, communist, and everything in between all of them see themselves as part of the resistance.

We have that capital; a deep, wide reserve of strength. No one should think our resources are small. And know this: our enemy is not all-powerful. It hasn’t achieved what it wants not yet. Don’t let it succeed by surrender. Don’t be defeated. We are not defeated. Who told you to speak on our behalf? Who told you to stand and speak with fear in your voice? Be strong. If anyone puts pressure on you, tell them: go speak to the resistance, and together we’ll decide what is to be done.

“O you who believe, be patient, and outdo others in patience, and remain stationed, and be mindful of Allah, so that you may succeed.”

The title of this message is: we are steadfast and we will overcome this phase, by God’s will, and we will hold our heads high.

And know this well: this resisting group — Amal Movement, Hezbollah, all the honorable fighters along with the Lebanese Army and the Lebanese people they will remain in the field, and they will triumph. They are the people of ‘Far from us is humiliation.’

I will conclude with the fifth point:

Lebanon finds stability through all its people not by privileging one group over another, or sacrificing some groups for others. In a unified and stable Lebanon, the state; with all its components, including the resistance; is one entity. There is no such thing as two sides: one called the state and another called the resistance. We are part of the structure of the state. The resistance is part of the state’s composition. And know this: we are in full understanding and cooperation.

Some are betting today on a rift between Hezbollah and the Amal Movement. No, no, no: there is no rift. On the contrary, we are like honey and ghee in full harmony and if that bothers anyone, let them go bang their head against the wall.

No one should think they can intimidate us. Whoever holds honor and resistance cannot but carry dignity and pride, and must preserve strength and protect the people. Know that this battle today either Lebanon wins, all of Lebanon, or Lebanon loses, all of Lebanon. There are no partial winners. Either we all win together, or we all lose together.

Our conviction is to win together, and we absolutely can win together. But when those calling for sedition and defeatism begin stirring chaos, complicating matters, and using Lebanon for foreign interests they are the ones losing Lebanon. And if some among us prioritize private interests that align with israel’s interests, then they are responsible for every harm that befalls Lebanon.

The aggression is the problem not the weapons. Solve the aggression problem first, then we can discuss weapons. The solution lies in possessing sources of strength, not surrendering them. We rely on Allah and the honorable, not on the American wolf and his minions. We must be lions to overcome this phase not weaken ourselves into lambs that are devoured and leave no trace.

“O you who believe! When you meet a force, stand firm, and remember Allah often so that you may succeed. And obey Allah and His Messenger and do not quarrel, lest you fail and your strength depart. And be patient for Allah is with the patient.”

We will confront foreign guardianship, the American–Arab bulldozing, and internal bullying. This is undoubtedly one of the most dangerous phases in Lebanon’s path to independence but we are stronger through independence, through the triad of army, people, and resistance, and through national unity. That is what we will hold onto and act upon.

Assalamu Alaykum wa rahmatullah...

🗞️ | Khaleel Nasrallah:

The ministers of Amal and Hezbollah withdrew from the government session, and this is an indication of an attempted trap called “voting” aimed at imposing the issue of disarming the resistance as a fait accompli.

The Council of Ministers did not task the army with drafting a plan to defend Lebanon against the Israeli aggression, but rather tasked it with preparing a plan to confine the weapons (the party’s weapons) to be presented to the Council of Ministers at the end of August and implemented before the end of the year.

This is the level of “defensive” thinking in Lebanon and about Lebanon, among a group that has embraced cowardice and taken it as a path.
