The first state standing on the line of jihad and resistance to represent and embody the fortress of resistance and resisters regardless of their nation, sect, or denomination is the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Deputy Al-Moussawi made this statement during a memorial ceremony held at the Hussein shrine in Nabi Othman, attended by party, political, municipal, and social figures.
He asked:
Who are those who resist and struggle in this time?
On this land and on every land, who are the people of jihad and resistance? They are individuals, groups, factions, parties, resistance movements, governments, and states. The first state standing on the line of jihad and resistance to represent and embody the fortress of resistance and honorable resisters, regardless of nation, sect, or denomination, is the Islamic Republic of Iran under the leadership of Imam Khomeini (may he rest in peace) and today under the leadership of Imam Sayyed Ali Khamenei (may God protect him). Is it not so?
He continued:
Brothers and sisters, the resistance has left us no excuse. The people of Gaza have left us no excuse. The Islamic Republic of Iran has left us no excuse. Our people in Yemen have left us no excuse. Our people in the South and Bekaa, especially on the front lines, the mujahideen who went from this town and all towns — some of whom remain missing to this day — who steadfastly resisted for 66 days in Kafr Kila and Khiam and prevented the Zionist enemy from advancing, these have left us absolutely no excuse not to support the truth and to stand with the truth.
He emphasized:
We, as individuals and groups, must arm ourselves with awareness. We must understand that the international community, the United Nations, all their charters, and everything taught in university curricula are all deception and lies. They use these to serve their interests, to condemn us, and to instill complexes of fear, doubt, and hesitation.
But we, who follow the line of resistance — the line of the sacred Imam Khomeini, the line of the Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei, and the line of the master of the nation’s martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah — will always and forever be the students whose ears, hearts, minds, and consciences resonate only with the truth spoken by Imam Ali (peace be upon him) and Imam Hussein (peace be upon him):
