🟩 Report: Recent Operations: (-04 June):

1. Fighters from the Al-Quds Brigades, returning from combat zones in northern Gaza, confirmed that they had targeted Zionist enemy concentrations east of Jabalia with two 107-type rockets.

2. Al-Qassam Brigades targeted a Zionist Merkava tank near the Murtaja intersection in the Maan area, south of Khan Younis, using a Yassin 105 shell. The strike ignited a fire inside the tank, and evacuation helicopters were seen landing shortly afterward.

3. On the day before, Monday, in Qizan al-Najjar south of Khan Younis, the Qassam Brigades also targeted a military bulldozer (D9 type) with a Yassin 105 shell.

4. The Al-Quds Brigades executed an engineering ambush targeting a Zionist military vehicle in the northwest areas of Beit Lahia.

🕋 Report — Message from Imam Khamenei (H), to the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah (Hajj): It was delivered this morning (Thursday) by Hujjat al-Islam wal-Muslimeen Nawab (Representative of the Supreme Leader for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs and head of the Iranian pilgrims), in the plains of Arafat, reads as follows: (1/2):

In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds, and blessings and peace be upon the best of Allah’s creation, Muhammad al-Mustafa, and his pure progeny, his chosen companions, and those who follow them in righteousness until the Day of Judgment.

Hajj is the longing of the faithful, the Eid of the seekers, and the spiritual sustenance of the blessed. If accompanied by deep understanding of its profound symbols, it becomes a cure for the major ailments of the Islamic Ummah — and indeed of all humanity.

The journey of Hajj is unlike any other, not for commerce, tourism, or varied personal goals with occasional acts of worship or charity along the way. Hajj is an exercise in migration from ordinary life toward the desired life — the life of Tawhid (Divine Unity):
A life centered around constant circumambulation of the axis of truth, relentless striving between symbolic peaks, continuous rejection (ramī) of the cursed Satan, standing (wuqūf) steeped in remembrance and supplication, feeding the needy and the wayfarer, viewing all races, colors, languages, and geographies equally, being ever-ready to serve, seeking refuge in Allah, and raising the banner in defense of truth — these are its essential components.

The rituals of Hajj encompass symbolic expressions of this life and call the pilgrim to adopt it.

One must hear this call, open the heart and the inner and outer eye, learn these lessons, and firmly resolve to implement them.
Everyone, to the extent of their ability, can take steps on this path — especially the scholars, intellectuals, and those in political or social positions.

Today, the Islamic world is more in need of these lessons than ever before.

This is now the second Hajj season coinciding with the horrors of Gaza and broader West Asia.

The Zionist criminal gang ruling over Palestine has, with unprecedented brutality and evil, pushed the Gaza tragedy to unimaginable extremes.

Palestinian children are now dying not only from bombs and bullets, but from thirst and starvation.

The number of grieving families mourning their loved ones — children, youth, fathers, and mothers — continues to rise.

Who should stand against this human catastrophe?

Without a doubt, Islamic governments bear the primary responsibility, and their peoples must hold them accountable.

While Muslim governments may have political differences on various issues, this should not prevent unity and cooperation in addressing the catastrophic events in Gaza and defending the most oppressed people on Earth today.

Muslim governments must block every channel of assistance to the Zionist regime and cut off the criminal hand continuing its wicked behavior in Gaza.

The United States is a definite partner in the Zionist regime’s crimes.

Those aligned with the U.S. in this region and beyond should listen to the Qur’an’s call to support the oppressed and force the arrogant American government to stop its unjust behavior.

The ritual of Bara’at (disavowal) in Hajj is a step in this direction.

The astonishing resistance of the people of Gaza has brought the Palestinian cause to the forefront of the Islamic world and all the free people of the globe.

This moment must be seized to aid this oppressed nation.

Despite the efforts of imperialists and Zionist backers to erase Palestine from memory, the evil nature of the regime’s leaders and their foolish policies have created a situation where Palestine shines more brightly than ever, and global hatred for Zionists and their allies is deeper than ever.
This is a critical opportunity for the Islamic world.

You hold no value. Do not even call yourselves Muslims with pride. You are not Gaza's voice. You are not Muslims' leaders. You are not with the oppressed. Have some shame. And if you can’t find that, at least have the decency to stay silent.

☑️ | A nation-wide massacre of Syrians has been carried out by Julani’s forces since last night. A very large number of youths, women, and children have been killed, with homes vandalized and burned. The terrorist Julani gangs even proceeded last night on the sacred night of Arafah to burn the Book of God, the Qur’an, in Beit Ana, in the countryside of Jableh in occupied Syria. This is not the first time such blasphemy has occurred. We witnessed similar acts during the massacres committed against the people of the Syrian coast a few months ago. It is not surprising. In fact, some seem to be enjoying this massacre, because it is being carried out by Israeli-Turkish collaboration forces against people who do not belong to their sect.

🚩 Husayni Resistance (4): Imam Husayn's (A) journey continued, while his representative in Kufa: Muslim ibn 'Aqeel (A) attained martyrdom: (1/2):

On the 9th of Zilhijj, Imam Husayn (A) reached the region of Taʾneem, specifically Bustān Banī ʿĀmir. At Tanʿīm, he encountered and seized a caravan led by Buhayr ibn Raysān al-Ḥimyarī, an agent of Yazid in Yemen, who was transporting booty from Ṣafāyah to Syria. As Imam Husayn’s journey quickened, he arrived at Ṣifāh, where he famously met the poet Farazdaq. When asked about the situation in Kufa, Farazdaq replied, “Their hearts are with you, but their swords are against you.”

Meanwhile, in Kufa, Imam Husayn (A) had already dispatched his cousin and brother-in-law, Muslim ibn ʿAqīl (a), to assess the situation in response to the overwhelming number of letters sent by Kufans pledging their allegiance. Muslim was accompanied by two guides who tragically lost their way in the desert and died of thirst. Muslim survived by locating a well and, after a difficult journey, reached Kufa and stayed at the house of the prominent and valorous Mukhtār b. Abī ʿUbayda al-Thaqafī. The people of Kufa received him warmly; within days, over eighty thousand pledged allegiance by placing their hands in his, thereby affirming their recognition of Imam Husayn as their legitimate Imam.

Muslim (a) began leading congregational prayers in the grand mosque of Kufa, which was filled to capacity. He wrote to Imam Husayn (A) reporting the enthusiastic support and advised him to proceed to Kufa to take leadership of the Ummah. He sent letters through trustworthy emissaries such as ʿĀbis b. Shabīb al-Shākirī and Qays b. Mushir al-Ṣaydāwī.

Despite enjoying popular support, Muslim (a) did not act beyond his mandate. Though he had the means and public backing to overthrow the Kufan governor, Nuʿmān b. Bashīr, he refrained from any political rebellion, acting solely within the religious and moral framework set by Imam Husayn (A). Al-Nuʿmān, aware of Muslim’s activities, addressed the people from the pulpit, stating he would not harm anyone unless they posed a direct threat to the government.

However, Umayyad loyalists in Kufa, including ʿImārah b. ʿUqbah, ʿUmar b. Saʿd, and ʿAbd Allāh b. Muslim, wrote to Yazid accusing al-Nuʿmān of incompetence. Fearing a revolt, Yazid dismissed al-Nuʿmān and appointed the ruthless ʿUbayd Allāh b. Ziyād, the governor of Basra, as the new governor of Kufa. He was instructed to crush Muslim’s movement and eliminate anyone supporting Imam Husayn.

Ibn Ziyād entered Kufa disguised as Imam Husayn, his face veiled, riding in the night. The people, expecting Husayn, rushed to greet him, only to be stunned when the veil was lifted, revealing the tyrant. From that moment, Ibn Ziyād imposed a reign of fear. He decreed the death penalty for anyone aiding or even conversing with Muslim, creating widespread panic.

Simultaneously, Shareek b. al-Aʿwar, a devout supporter of Ahl al-Bayt, arrived in Kufa and stayed with his friend Hānī b. ʿUrwah. When Muslim learned of Ibn Ziyād’s arrival and orders, he moved from Mukhtār’s house to Hānī’s for safety. Ibn Ziyād, respecting Shareek, announced he would visit him. Shareek and Hānī planned to have Muslim assassinate Ibn Ziyād during the visit. Muslim hid with a sword, but when the signal came, he refused to strike. Muslim explained that Ahl al-Bayt never initiated violence nor killed by deceit, especially not in a host’s home. Shareek, dismayed at the missed opportunity, died three days later in grief.

Unaware of Muslim’s exact location, Ibn Ziyād employed his cunning slave, Maʿqil, who posed as a supporter of Husayn carrying 3,000 dirhams for Muslim. He approached Muslim b. ʿAwsaja al-Asadī and was eventually led to Hānī’s house, where he met Muslim and handed over the money to his treasurer, Abū Thumāmah. Maʿqil reported back to Ibn Ziyād, confirming Muslim’s location.

Ibn Ziyād summoned Hānī under the pretext of illness. When Hānī refused to betray Muslim, Ibn Ziyād assaulted him and imprisoned him.

The Banu Murād and other tribal warriors surrounded the palace in protest. Ibn Ziyād summoned the judge Shurayḥ to assure the tribes that Hānī was alive. Although Shurayḥ saw Hānī injured and bleeding, he was threatened and told only to report that Hānī was still alive. The crowd dispersed, and Ibn Ziyād immediately had Hānī executed, his body thrown into a well.

Despite sincere public support, fear overtook Kufa. Ubayd Allāh ibn Ziyād, holed up in the palace with just twenty guards, was surrounded by twenty thousand supporters of Muslim. Ibn Ziyād cunningly sent agents into the crowd, including Shabath b. Ribʿī, Shimr b. Dhī al-Jawshan, and others. They spread fear through rumors: Yazid’s army was en route, anyone resisting would be massacred, and surrender was the only path to survival. Ibn Ziyād also sent white flags offering amnesty. Many people defected under fear, and the crowd dispersed.

Muslim ibn ʿAqīl, once surrounded by thousands, now found himself deserted. From thirty followers to ten, by the end, he stood alone. He wandered the streets of Kufa until he met Saʿīd b. al-Aḥnaf, who warned him the city was locked down and spies were searching. Saʿīd took Muslim to the home of Muḥammad b. Kathīr. Despite hiding him well, Ibn Ziyād learned of the location. Though a search failed, Ibn Ziyād arrested Ibn Kathīr and his son, interrogating them harshly.

Finding it impossible to dislodge Muslim ibn ʿAqīl from his fortified position, Muhammad ibn al-Ashʿath resorted to deception. His soldiers climbed rooftops and hurled oil-soaked torches, filling the lane with fire and choking smoke. They also dug a trench at the street’s entrance, concealing it with sticks. Overcome by the smoke, Muslim emerged fighting and fell into the hidden pit, where he was captured.

Sensing betrayal, Muslim told ibn al-Ashʿath: “You won’t be able to protect me. Then at least convey my final message to Husayn: the people of Kufa have abandoned us—he must not come here.” Ibn al-Ashʿath took him to the governor Ibn Ziyād and mentioned the promise of protection. Infuriated, Ibn Ziyād dismissed the pledge, saying, “You were sent to capture him—not to offer guarantees.”

Muslim was handed over to Muslim ibn ʿAmr al-Bāhilī. Thirsty and wounded, he asked for water, but when brought a cup, blood from his injured mouth—caused by Bukeir ibn Ḥamrān al-Aḥmarī—filled it. After several failed attempts, he threw the cup aside, saying he would die thirsty.

He asked to speak privately with ʿUmar ibn Saʿd. “I owe 700 dirhams in Medina—please repay it from my funds. Ensure I’m buried properly. And warn Husayn: do not come to Kufa.” When Ibn Ziyād learned of this will, he sneered: “A thief has made you his trustee.”

Ibn Ziyād began cursing Muslim and Imam Husayn, accusing them of sedition. Muslim refuted him, affirming their loyalty to Islam and accusing Yazid’s regime of innovations and tyranny. Enraged, Ibn Ziyād ordered Bukeir ibn Ḥamrān to execute Muslim. He was beheaded, and his body was thrown from the palace into the marketplace.

Hānī ibn ʿUrwah, who had sheltered Muslim, was executed shortly after by Ibn Ziyād’s slave Rashīd in the butcher’s market. Their headless bodies were dragged through the streets, but the Banū Muḍḥij, Hānī’s tribe, later recovered and buried them.

Their severed heads were sent to Damascus. Yazid, upon seeing them, ordered they be hung at the city gate and enforced a reign of repression against suspected dissenters.

Hānī, a veteran companion of Imam ʿAlī and a respected Kufan tribal leader, was known for his loyalty to the Ahlul Bayt. Both he and Muslim ibn ʿAqīl were martyred on the Day of ʿArafa—Tuesday, 9th Zilhijj, 60 AH (some claim it was Wednesday, 10th Zilhijj, but earlier sources like al-Masʿūdī consider the 9th more accurate).
