📕 | Flashback: The New Year’s message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution was recorded in his home room, kept in its simplest form without any special decorations.
This setting reflected the events of the past year, marked by martyrdom anniversary of Imam Ali (A), a series of martyrdoms, an ongoing massacre, increasing pressure on Iran, and a worsening economic crisis. On the bookshelf behind him, two pictures were visible—one of Imam Khomeini (r) and the other of the late Ayatollah Sayyid Abdulhossein Lari (1848–1924). Ayatollah Lari was a key figure in Iran’s resistance against colonial powers, particularly during the British invasion of Bushehr (1915–1916), where he declared Jihad and personally led an armed resistance.
While the Islamic Revolution of 1979 was brought to victory by Imam Khomeini (r), the broader struggle of the Shia clergy against imperialism predates it by over a century. Many who assume that resistance against colonialism only began with Imam Khomeini (r) overlook the long history of Shia scholars leading uprisings against foreign domination. Figures like Ayatollah Lari played a crucial role in shaping a resistance movement that extended from Syria to India, preventing complete colonial control over these regions. Without this legacy of defiance, achieving independence from imperial powers would have been far more difficult.
The British government, in its attempt to tighten its colonial grip, sent a large number of Christian missionaries to Iran under the pretense of spreading Christianity. These missionaries brought with them numerous books and publications, but their true objective was to promote Western materialistic culture and establish a foothold in southern Iran. Recognizing this scheme, Ayatollah Lari took decisive action, ordering the expulsion of these missionaries and the destruction of their misleading books. His stance directly challenged British colonial ambitions and reaffirmed the power of Shia religious leadership in Iran. Moreover, he went beyond resistance and actively worked to establish an Islamic State in Laristan, implementing Sharia law and creating a model of governance free from Qajar oppression and foreign interference.
Britain, seeing the growing influence of Ayatollah Lari, pressured the Qajar government to act against him. As a result, the Iranian authorities dispatched Ain al-Mulk to suppress his activities, imposing a heavy fine of 2,000 tomans for the confiscated books—a significant sum at the time. However, upon arriving in Lar and witnessing the steadfast resistance of Ayatollah Lari and his supporters, Ain al-Mulk was forced to retreat to Tehran, apologizing for his failure. This event exposed the weakness of the Qajar monarchy and further solidified the people’s trust in Ayatollah Lari as their leader against both internal oppression and foreign occupation.
Ayatollah Lari’s victory over British-backed forces, including armed Jewish factions and Christian missionaries, dealt a severe blow to both the British Empire and the Qajar regime. The people no longer viewed him as merely a religious scholar but as a fearless leader who stood against tyranny. His home became a sanctuary for the oppressed, where people sought protection for their lives, wealth, and dignity. Determined to end the rule of tyrants, he trained and armed a group of fighters and issued a powerful declaration: “It is obligatory to replace the Umayyad-style Qajar monarchy with a righteous Islamic government.” His forces successfully crushed the colonial-backed army, capturing their resources and freeing the people of Fars from oppression. Through his struggle, Ayatollah Lari not only fought imperial forces but also laid the groundwork for an Islamic governance model and led a governance, ensuring that the fight for justice remained deeply embedded in Iran’s history.

🟩 Breaking: The military spokesman for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaydah (H):
“We send our greetings to our truthful brothers in dear Yemen for their honorable stance and direct support for their people in Gaza, despite the heavy price they pay for their loyalty to Al-Aqsa and Palestine.
Today, the missiles of Yemen intersected with the missiles of Gaza in the sky of Tel Aviv, affirming that Gaza is not alone and that behind it stand men from the free people of the Ummah who will not surrender it to its arrogant enemies.
We call upon all the free people of our Ummah to engage in the battle of defending Al-Aqsa and to continue the path of support and backing for Gaza, in order to break the strength of the criminal Zionist enemy and force it to stop its aggression.”

🇱🇧 | Political Analyst Khalil Nasrallah:
Some analysts are talking about Hezbollah receiving weapons through and from Syria.
If true, who does this narrative serve (currently, at this stage)?
Frankly, this narrative serves:
• The Israelis in their war against the resistance’s capabilities.
• The Americans and some internal parties by justifying the need to deploy international monitoring forces at the Lebanese-Syrian border.
• The new Syrian authorities, who claim they will not allow Syrian territory to be used for arms smuggling, reinforcing their narrative about what is happening at the border.
It does not serve the resistance’s supporters if the goal is to boost morale.
Some people do not understand the impact of their words, and good intentions have often caused harm.

🏴 | Just a reminder, the Umayyads also killed the 6-month-old son of Imam Husayn (A), whose name was Ali al-Asghar (A), by lacerating his thirsty throat with an arrow.

🇮🇷 | A few years ago, Imam Khamenei (h) warned Erdogan that Syria’s security is Turkey’s security.
Now, as protests spread across Turkey, Ali Jafari reports that the PKK commander has threatened Erdogan with missile attacks, stating: If the Turkish government is not ready for peace, we are ready for war.
The Leader of the Revolution had given Erdogan fatherly advice to view Syria’s security as his own, but Erdogan’s neo-Ottoman illusions prevented him from listening.

🇸🇾 Breaking | Statement of the Syrian Resistance:
Turkey is on fire… Uproot the throne of the traitor Erdogan! The revolution of anger is escalating… Istanbul is revolting… Parliament is on fire… and the agent Erdogan is reeling!
The Turkish people are shaking the throne of the Zionist terrorist Erdogan, who sold the country to the Zionists and the Americans, turned Turkey into a Western colony, and made his army a tool to kill Syrians and others, causing the economy to collapse.
The demonstrations are not subsiding, and protests are expanding despite repression and arrests, while some of his forces are collapsing and withdrawing from Syria in a scene that reflects his inevitable downfall.
A trembling Erdogan wants to release Imamoglu out of fear, but the people respond: “It’s not enough… We want you!”
Protests in several cities, including Sakarya, demand Erdogan’s immediate resignation, and popular anger is growing in all cities!
A message to the Turkish people:
Don’t stop! Don’t give him a chance to escape! Continue until you uproot his throne and bring down his traitorous rule once and for all!
