A new video from Idlib reveals Tahrir al-Sham (HTS) terrorists pledging their allegiance, declaring that the Quran is their so-called constitution—a clear indication of the group’s expanding jihadist battalion. This aligns with recent intelligence suggesting that HTS is not only recruiting but actively restructuring its forces for long-term operations in Syria and beyond.

There are reports that thousands of terrorists are still entering Syria via Turkiye from Central Asian regions and other Arab nations, with financial backing from Gulf states and per-head payments facilitated through Turkish channels. These fighters, drawn from Afghanistan, Chechnya, and other radicalized regions, are funneled into northern Syria, where HTS has been consolidating its hold.

The European Union, which has pledged billions in aid under the pretense of humanitarian relief, must recognize that this funding indirectly strengthens terrorist networks. The threat posed by HTS and its affiliates is not confined to Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, or Iran but is expanding into Europe itself.

HTS is growing alongside ISIS, which has thousands of new fighters being systematically brainwashed and transferred into Syria through established smuggling routes in Turkiye. Reports suggest that HTS has been receiving logistical support, including advanced weaponry and drones, from sources linked to Western-backed groups. Meanwhile, local sources indicate that these groups have been preparing for a renewed offensive against Syrian and allied forces, aiming to destabilize the region further.

The scale of the threat is unprecedented—HTS and other Takfiri factions are no longer mere proxies but full-fledged partners in the Zio-Takfiri Sunni network. Their operations extend beyond Syria, with increasing coordination in Africa, Afghanistan, and even parts of Europe, as radicalized fighters return to their home countries with combat experience.

The question remains: how long will the world continue to ignore the role of Western and regional powers in fueling this growing terror jihadist movement?

Among the arrested are individuals from Türkiye’s ruling party (AKP). The Republican People’s Party denounced this as a political coup by Erdogan, promising full revelations in court.

The detention of Istanbul Mayor Ekrem İmamoğlu follows the annulment of his university degree by Istanbul University due to irregularities. The revocation, which came from a report by Turkey’s higher education council (YÖK), has disqualified İmamoğlu from running for president.
