The detainee, along with his grandson, was brutally harrassed, left abandoned and stranded in dire conditions.

The detainee proclaimed: “I will tell you about the future,” echoing the defiant words of Sayyidah Zaynab (S) who had warned Yazid (l): “I will tell you about the future. Allah will protect our remembrance, and He will rule!”

The Qur’an warns the oppressors:

“And do not think Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do. He only delays them until a Day when eyes will stare [in horror].” (Qur’an 14:42)

Today, we are witnessing the repetition of the crimes of the past. The accursed father of Yazid (l) martyred the noble companion of the Prophet (S) and Imam Ali (A), Hujr ibn Adi (r), for his unwavering love of truth and justice. The same ideological beasts hanged and butchered Maytham al-Tammar (r), another loyal companion of Imam Ali (A).

This is the legacy of these modern-day Yazids and their fraud-Sunni ideology—those who pretend to act in the name of Sunni-Islam while being its greatest enemies. They massacre Sunnis and Shias alike, fueling sectarian hatred for their masters’ political gains. Allah says:

Whether Hezbollah and the Amal Movement will elect Joseph Aoun as President of the Republic or not, the election remains unconstitutional and “a fallout.”

If he wins tomorrow, the constitution will have to be amended.
