Iranian citizen Mohammad Ali-Nejad, an elderly man from Hadi Shahr, Jolfa, contacted the Resistance Front Support Headquarters in East Azerbaijan Province after Operation Vow of the Truth 2 and said, “I want to donate all of my savings, which is 200 million toman, to the IRGC Aerospace Force.”
He was told that the Aerospace Force has a budget, and if he wanted to donate to the Lebanese Resistance or the war-affected people, it would be acceptable. But the man’s response was clear: “No! Only to the missile unit.”
Mr. Ali-Nejad’s financial situation is poor. He lives in a very simple house in Hadi Shahr, Jolfa, and has been in poor health for several years, spending his days on a metal bed with a medical mattress.
When journalist Mrs. Hamidi contacted him to report on his act, he quoted several verses and Hadiths that emphasize not to boast about one’s good deeds.
