🇾🇪 Breaking | Statement issued by the Yemeni Armed Forces:

The air defenses of the Yemeni Armed Forces, with the help of God Almighty, succeeded in shooting down an American "MQ_9" aircraft while it was carrying out hostile espionage and combat operations in the airspace of Saada Governorate.

This aircraft is the second that our air defenses have succeeded in shooting down within 72 hours. This is the ninth plane to be shot down during the Battle of the Promised Victory and the Holy Jihad in support of the Battle of the Flood of Al-Aqsa.

The Yemeni Armed Forces commend the heroic operation of the martyred Mujahid Maher Al-Jazi, who decided to avenge the blood of the martyrs in Gaza in the appropriate manner.

The Yemeni Armed Forces confirm that they will continue to carry out their military operations until the aggression stops and the siege on the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip is lifted.

🏴 Report | Once again, the IOF used American-provided MK-84 bombs, 2,000 bombs with 900 pounds of explosives, in the Mawasi Khan Younis massacre today. These are the same bombs used in the July 2024 Mawasi massacre, which resulted in over 70 martyrs.

The explosive ammunition makes up 45% of the bomb's total weight and can create a crater about 15 meters wide and over 10 meters deep. It causes deadly damage around it, with a radius of approximately 73 meters.

These same US weapons have been used in previous massacres including in Jabalia, Al-Maamadani Hospital massacre, and Al-Nusseirat market massacre where US assistance to IOF was directly involved.

The United States has provided the zionist entity with 14,000 of these 2-ton bombs since October 7th.

2 Yemeni female students were killed and 9 others were injured as a result of a brutal US-UK aggression on Yemen, when 2 raids were launched on the Al-Jund area, near the Umm Al-Mu'minin Aisha School for Girls in Taiz Governorate.

While we condemn this brutal aggression and heinous crime, we affirm that targeting civilians & educational facilities is a dangerous escalation, and it reflects the extent of American and British frustration over their failure to provide protection for Israeli navigation in the Red Sea.

Yemen is committed to the decision to support Gaza, and it will not back down from this principled and moral decision.
