ELA Wallet Server Maintenance Announcement

The Elastos Blockchain Team will be performing maintenance on the ELA Wallet server on April 25, 2020 from 6:00AM to 8:00AM (UTC).

During the maintenance period, data pertaining to DPoS Consensus and the ongoing CR Council election may be unavailable. After the maintenance is complete, any impacted features will return to normal function.

The latest version of ELA Wallet - Version 1.4.2.1 - has just been released for Android. Version 1.4.2.1 contains the following upgrades:

1. Optimized ID chain synchronization speed;
2. Fix for CR Council election deposit retrieval.

Notes:
-For all CRC participants, it is strongly recommended to create a DID, and to add an avatar, personal profile, and other relevant information to provide further validity to your candidacy. To publish personal, election-related information, use the "Update DID Information" button.
-For registered CRC participants, please bind the DID via the "Update DID Information" button or "Update Registration Information" button once you have created your DID. Otherwise, you will remain in "inactive", rendering you unable to be elected as a CR Council member.
-As always, it is recommended to back up your wallet prior to upgrading to Version 1.4.2.1.

The latest version of ELA Wallet - Version 1.4.2 - has just been released for iOS. Version 1.4.2 contains the following upgrades:

1. Added DID creation function, which can be used to add personal information;
2. Enabled CRCandidates to publish election-related information via their personal credentials;
3. Added support for binding a DID with a CR website account such that users can login to their CR accounts via QR code scan;
4. Optimized wallet startup speed and ID chain synchronization speed;
5. Added "node connection setting", which enables users to manually specify a node address for on-chain data synchronization.

Notes:

Please note: You must back up your mnemonic for your wallet and DID before upgrading. All of your locally stored elastOS data will be lost, for example, if you have notes in ElaNotes, it's a good time to make a backup first. You will have to create a DID or import yours when you first sign in to elastOS 1.2.0.

Important information regarding ELA Wallet:

When voting for CR Council members via the ELA wallet, please understand following points:

1. Please upgrade ELA Wallet to at least version 1.4.2 and wait for the latest block to be synchronized when opening the wallet.
2. You can vote for multiple candidates at the same time. After the vote is submitted successfully, please confirm whether there is a voting record in the wallet record before exiting the ELA Wallet.
3. Each new vote will cover the previous vote record.
4. If the voting fails or there is an error message, you can try to conduct DPoS voting again. After the DPoS voting is confirmed, then you can switch to the CR Council voting.
