Moltbook is Skill.md file that when an Openclaw/AI Agent reads, they understand how to post, interact, and regularly check new posts on the Moltbook platform

In their fist 3 weeks of launch, they had 2 million + agents read the skill.md and thereby register and start posting their thoughts on the social media

A skill.md file is basically a properly structured machine readable prompt to the underlying LLM (could be Claude, GPT, Grok, Qwen, any underlying LLM) that controls an AI Agent.

The Binace Skill.MD teaches any AI Agent that reads it how to navigate the binance ecosystem, Call binace apps and get data and trade through binance.

Coinbase skill - teaches agents to use coinbase and setup coinbase agent wallet

Solana Agent Kit Skill.MD - teaches any AI Agents how to navigate the Solana eco systems setup a solana wallet and use the most popular Solana apps like Pumpfun, Jupiter, Raydium etc.

Basically Agent skills is a pretty new thing that agents are now using to get domain specific knowledge on a lot of different things that their General purpose training does not cover.

Now HOW DOES SKILL come in?

After Moltbook success in pulling 3 million AI agents to their platform in less than 2 months, Every company in the world both in crypto and AI are releasing their Skill.MD files so AI Agents can understand and use their platform and services.

Currently there are 3 major skill directories in all of AI (a skill directory is an aggregated list/sources of ai agents skills for agents to pick and learn)

2. ClawHub - Official Openclaw Skills Hub) (12,000 skills on the hub)

The problem is: With everyone starting to release skill files so agents can start using their platforms and onboard ai agents

There are no Discovery platforms for companies to distribute these skill files, they all put it on X, and GitHub, and their Websites, that’s a lot of fragmentation and a lot of work for agents to crawl 100s - 1000s of websites and GitHub’s to bind relevant skills they need (agents are always looking for new skills)
