"Now, the intensity of shellings of Donetsk, of course, is impressive, because it's now being shelled two times a week with cluster munitions, and people are always wounded and killed," says Aleksey Smirnov, a producer and film director turned volunteer.

In 2014, he set aside his career and ventured into conflict zones to aid the residents of Donbass. Every day, his team delivers food to the most perilous zones of Donbass and evacuates the wounded.

"The moment someone is brought in, the doctor proceeds according to a plan on how to act, what to do, how to save them," shares a neurosurgeon with the callsign 'Zero'. “Of course, I didn't expect that, at the age of 22, I'd be commanding 9 people, and that their lives would depend on my decisions, my commands,” shares Azat Petrosyan.
