"When it started and the 1st missiles dropped on Donetsk Airport, l packed my stuff... and joined up," recalls one of the fighters from the artillery unit. "Someone was a miner, another a locksmith, another in sales.

The Motherland called and all took up arms," he adds. Documentarian Mikhail Burov spent several days in the most perilous zones of the Donbass frontlines to capture the exclusive footage.
