It's time to break bones and risk your body. Stop your silly discussions about the metaphors of the warrior way and step into some true fights and challenges.

What it doesn't mean.
1 - to follow only the traditional sense of holidays and sacred celebration. You are not living like your ancestors did.
2 - to reenact. If for example, your ancestors used to sacrifice a goat in honor of Donarr, and you symbolically buy some goat milk or cheese to burn during a ritual, you aren't sacrificing shit. You are larping. Burn 1000 euro or something very worth. A goat, back in time, was a treasure.
3 - believe that who came before you was automatically better , more honorable, don't idealize something you are not living.

What it means
1 - understand the deep meaning of what you are celebrating not necessarily being happy because traditionally it was something. Focus instead on the mythical meaning and how your faith can elevate you toward an higher standard and the sky itself. Evolve your tradition.
2 - give everything to your rituals and be sure to spend days on what you realized during your personal sacrice. Be sure you are at least risking something. Make your rituals an ordeal. Survive the strife. Pain is the only teacher and the only way to be better is being harsh but rightheouse toward yourself.
3 - be a son of your own time. Your final achievement is to be better of your ancestors, not "I hope my ancestors are proud of me". When you wake up and when you go to sleep you must already know they are proud. Be even better.

I never met him before.
This morning we met. We talked about god, gods, spirits and rural life. Then, for 10 - 2 minutes rounds we used our faces as boxing bags.

Now we are friends.

One of the best thing I introduced into my training routine was my work.

I do not earn a lot of of money but I have easy access to:
- practical knowledge
- crafts skills
- improvisation
- a lot of tools
- healthy environment
- constant effort

The best thing is , by the way, being able to keep the focus on my spiritual journey, which includes training.

One of the questions that people keep ask, is "how do I start?".
It is the wrong question. The right question is , "Do you have the balls to risk?".
It's not difficult to find a job in a farm and dedicate your existence to being off grid and devoted.

The difficult thing is to risk after a life spent listening to media, tabloid, television and letting people decide that your standard must be a new phone every 3 months, a perfect car, and at least 2k each month, and being judge by your social capabilities.

The first and most difficult task: stop listening.
Risk, fight and hope.

Do not create imaginary enemies.

You don't need to desperately seek the "good" till the point you need an adversary to prove yourself righteous to the eyes of people.

There is already enough wrong in this world. And enough evilness, probably.

Instead of Good/Evil , realize the Right and Wrong.

Act in order to avoid worthless pain to others, and be ready even to hurt others if needed for a right cause.

Better to be a straightforward simple strong man than a tricky, deceitful complicated famous personality.

Don't romanticize your training.

Putting the words "ancestors" , "might" or "random quote from a sacred test or havamal" is not gonna take you somewhere.

Keep it simple, violent, constant.

It is not special.
Don't be a fucking reenactor of something you may not know how it properly used to work.

Keep it brutal.
Live the Moment.
