📌 With the symbol, Kuliak expressed support for the 🇷🇺Russian operation in 🇺🇦Ukraine. It was extra painful that the Russian, who had won bronze in the World Cup match on the parallel bars, was on the podium next to the Ukrainian winner Illia Kovtun. They didn't shake hands.

🔎 The Z symbol is more commonly used by supporters of the Russian operation as the Z has become a symbol of nationalism, but Kuliak thinks there's nothing wrong with showing the letter.
