Checking in on white liberals....
The IQ gap between the rich and poor "has remained roughly the same for 50 years despite gains in nutrition and the rise of welfarism." "At the current pace of closure, [it] would not be eliminated until the second half of the 22nd Century."

Massive status bias in peer review.

534 reviewers randomized to review the same paper revealing the low status, high status, or neither author. 65% reject low status, 23% reject high status.

“Individuals with lower intelligence levels (typically measured as IQ) tend to be more likely to engage in criminal behavior," and there is "consistent evidence of a mostly linear" association between low IQ and criminality.

"Counterfactual simulations show that exposing low-income households to the same products and prices available to high-income households reduces nutritional inequality by only about 10%, while the remaining 90% is driven by differences in demand. These findings counter the argument that policies to increase the supply of healthy groceries could play an important role in reducing nutritional inequality."

Meta-analysis finds intelligent people to be less influenceable:
https://sci-hub.ru/https://doi.org/10.1037/0033-2909.111.1.156
Although more libertarian on average, intelligent people are more extremist on economics in both directions (i.e. have a larger standard deviation, and there's heteroskedasticity in the association):
https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0160289622000800

Intelligent people think for themselves, which is anathema to centrism where you let society think for you. The effect size is a bit smaller here than it would be on other issues, as econ is an exception where the polarization effect is put at odds with libertarian econ, with some exceptions, generally being objectively beneficial.

If the mainstream is full of radical contradictions, then you'll have to believe in radical things if you don't want your beliefs to contradict themselves. If the mainstream believes radically-retarded shit, then you'll have to believe in radically deviant positions if you want to maintain any shred of your intellectual honestly.
