GoMining has mined the first live Bitcoin block using Stratum V2 through the DMND pool
The key point is not just the block itself, but the shift in how mining can work. Instead of fully relying on the pool operator to choose transactions, the miner was able to build its own block template.
For Bitcoin, this is a meaningful step toward stronger decentralization. The less control mining pools have over transaction selection, the harder it becomes to censor the network.
