DBS Bank, Singapore’s biggest bank, introduces a new iteration of its metaverse gamified adventure in The Sandbox, aimed at demonstrating how virtual experiences can be used as a force for good. Through this event, players must complete a series of activities, inspired by five businesses supported by the DBS Foundation, to mitigate food waste. Earlier in 2022, DBS partnered with Sandbox and acquired the virtual land in the metaverse.

Base and Optimism developers have jointly announced a revenue-sharing and governance-sharing agreement. Under this partnership, the two networks will share profits and governance using multisignature wallets, and a security council. From now on, Base’s smart contracts can only be upgraded via a two-of-two multisignature wallet account. Moreover, governance will be handed over to a security council with representatives from all of the chains that comprise this ecosystem.
