L1 Digital conducts a $152M fundraise to launch the second crypto VC fund
L1 Digital, a Zurich-based investment advisor focused on digital assets that has $400M in assets under management, has closed a $152M funding or its second venture capital fund. The firm will use 70% of the funds ($106.4M) to invest in crypto startups and and the other 30% ($45.6M) to fund an early-stage crypto-focused investment firms. The new L1D Blockchain Venture II SLP fund has already deployed about one-third of its capital, with investments in Centrifuge, Groma, Safe, Li.Fi and Squads. Moreover, L1D currently backs notable industry investors Multicoin Capital, DeFiance Capital, Castle Island Ventures and 1kx.
