MultiversX $EGLD, a decentralized blockchain network, introduces Guardians, an on-chain two-factor authentication (2FA) feature for wallet security. Users can leverage Microsoft Authenticator, Authy or Google Authenticator to ensure that only authorized actions are performed on their accounts. Multichain $MULTI will cease its operations as its CEO has been detained by Chinese police
Multichain, a cross-chain router protocol, will wind down its operations amid the arrest of its CEO Zhaojun and his sister by Chinese police. According to the project's statement, its CEO has been taken under a custody couple of weeks ago, along with his computers, phones, hardware wallets, and mnemonic phrases. After the abnormal transfer of users' assets locked on the MPC addresses, Zhaojun's sister transferred the remaining user assets and was also detained. Since there is no information about the assets' status and absence of the contact with the project's CEO, the team is forced to cease operations.
