Gensyn, a provider of blockchain-based computing resources for artificial intelligence platforms, has announced the closure of a $43M Series A funding round, led by a16z. The investment was also joined by CoinFund, Eden Block, Zee Prime Capital, Maven 11 Capital, Jsquare, id4 ventures, Protocol Labs, Peer, M31 Capital and some other angel investors. Gensyn uses a cryptographic verification network that without the need for intermediaries allows users to determine that machine learning work shared over the protocol has been finished correctly.

Tether, the largest stablecoin issuer, has completed the minting event of 1B $USDT token on the Ethereum blockchain to support transfers of tokens from one blockchain network to another. After the announcement, Binance stated that it will swap 750M USDT on Tron for USDT on Ethereum directly with Tether. This is Tether's second billion-dollar USDT mint in less than two months.
