Omni Network, an interoperability layer for Ethereum, has raised $18M in the funding round from Pantera Capital, Two Sigma Ventures, Jump Crypto, Hashed, The Spartan Group, and others. Omni aims to empower builders to create applications that are global by default without adding further complexity to the developer experience. LayerZero, an omnichain interoperability protocol designed for lightweight message passing across chains, is now live on Polygon zkEVM Mainnet. This innovation will allow developers building on Polygon zkEVM to expand to more than 30 chains, supported by LayerZero. FTX exchange agrees to sell LedgerX to an affiliate of Miami International Holdings
FTX debtors will sell its LedgerX derivatives exchange for about $50M for to an affiliate of Miami International Holdings. The deal to M7 Holdings needs to be approved by the U.S. bankruptcy court overseeing FTX's proceedings. FTX secured approval early this year to sell business units to raise money for creditors.
