Coinbase exchange sues SEC, asking that the regulator be forced to publicly share its answer to a months-old petition on whether it would allow the crypto industry to be regulated using existing SEC frameworks. The SEC did not offer a specific public response to Coinbase’s petition that was published in July 2022, instead it has ramped up enforcement actions and warnings against crypto exchanges, including Coinbase.

TinyTap, the edtech company owned by Animoca Brands, has raised $8.5M in the investment round, reaching the $100M valuation. Among round participants are Sequoia China, Polygon, Liberty City Ventures, Kingsway Capital and Shima Capital. TinyTap offers a library of over 250,000 educational games in 24 languages, made by teachers and publishers. The company also is also planning to offer custodial wallets for students to store tokens, claim on-chain credentials and access PublisherNFT content.
