FTX chief Sam Bankman-Fried transferred at least $4B in FTX funds to Alameda Research in an attempt to cover its losses from deals in May and June. According to the statement, Bankman-Fried didn't inform other FTX executives about the transfer of funds to Alameda because he was afraid of leaks. After all, FTX is looking to raise another funding to reanimate the company.
