BNB Chain has been halted after a $570M exploit of the Binance Bridge
Hackers have exploited a cross-chain bridge of BNB Chain, BSC Token Hub, resulting in the theft of the $570M as well as the halting of the chain itself. By using the loophole, attackers convinced the Binance Bridge to send out 2M $BNB tokens that value at around $570M. According to the CZ, the current impact estimates are about $100M equivalent.
