Wormhole has introduced the tokenomics of its $W token, with 1.7B tokens (17% of the total token supply) being allocated to the community and airdrop. Some 1.1B $W tokens (11% of total supply) will be unlocked at TGE, with the remaining 6% unlocked four months after TGE. Back in November 2023, Wormhole raised $225M in funding from Multicoin Capital, Coinbase Ventures, Borderless Capital, ParaFi, Dialectic, Arrington Capital, Jump Trading and Brevan Howard.
