Blockchain Capital, a crypto-focused investment firm, has raised $580M for two new funds. The funding is split between $380M for its sixth early-stage fund, which will focus on newer companies and protocols in pre-seed and Series A rounds, and $200M for its opportunities fund, which will target late-stage investments from Series B onward. Among the recent funding rounds that Blockchain Capital has led are a $115M Series C into Worldcoin and a $40M Series A into RISC Zero.

Optimism (OP) conducts the third $OP airdrop, distributing 19.4M tokens ($26M)
Optimism, a Layer 2 network built on top of the Ethereum network, has announced the third OP airdrop for its governance members. The project will allocate 19.4M OP tokens ($26M) to 31,870 addresses that participated in delegation activities of its DAO called the Optimism Collective. This airdrop has an objective of bolstering engagement on the Layer 2 network and rewarding user participation, similarly to its two preceding airdrop rounds that took place in this February and April 2022.
