Leftist Psychology 101: "The Leftist Personality"
Studies on Left- and Right-Wing psychology have consistently found that Leftists are more likely to exhibit manipulative, self-serving, and generally antisocial personality traits.
- Leftists have low disgust sensitivity [1] [2].
- Leftists are more likely to be envious, spiteful, self-interested, and more willing to harm innocent people for "the greater good" [3].
- Leftists are more likely to be narcissistic, psychopathic, and Machiavellian [4].
- Leftists are more neurotic [5], mentally ill [6], and unhappy [7] than Right-Wingers.
- Leftists are more likely to display lower emotional intelligence [8] [9] and impaired threat detection [10].
Moreover, Leftists are more likely to be shorter [11] and uglier [12] [13], and Leftist men are weaker [14] [15] and less masculine [16] — characteristics that are not conducive to success in any human civilization.
Finally, their moral worldview is primarily focused on harm avoidance and "fairness," and disproportionately low in in-group loyalty, respect for authority and order, and sanctity [17] [18].
Their combined physical and psychological characteristics explain everything you need to know about their worldview:
- They believe that life is unfair (because they are short, weak, ugly, etc.), which causes neuroticism, which leads to self-obsession and spiteful envy.
- They lose all concern for group interests and are only interested in improving their own standing.
- As they cannot get ahead in fair competition, they resort to underhanded, manipulative, and psychopathic strategies.
- This manifests as behaviors like victimhood/virtue signaling, gaslighting, and other forms of coercion and emotional abuse.
Leftist ideology can thus be summarized as an attempt to climb the social ladder via underhanded tactics, e.g. eliminating the competition by promoting "equality" (bringing everyone down to their level).
It is a strategy for losers to take power and resources from winners.
