BAHRAIN GETS BLASTED

Explosions occurred in Bahrain amid continuing military operations in the Middle East, following the beginning of a war between the United States and Israel, on one hand, and Iran on the other.
The authorities advised people to seek shelter as blasts were heard in the country's capital, Manama. Iran has previously threatened to retaliate against countries that house US bases in case of an attack.
No information about casualties or damage has emerged.

The Department of Defense has authorized the departure of military dependents in Bahrain after the U.S. and Israel began an attack on Iran Saturday morning. The authorized departures, which are not mandatory, come as President Donald Trump declared that the U.S. has launched a major combat operation in Iran.
