Happy Waitangi Day, New Zealand!

Is it OK to say "Happy Waitangi Day"?
I'm not sure either, some see it as tone-deaf given the history of protests, heckles, and unresolved grievances that still flare up at the Treaty Grounds (like the performative political haka, tensions, spectacles and speeches met with boos yesterday).
For others, it's a simple, positive greeting for our national day, a commemoration of the 1840 partnership that founded New Zealand.
I believe it should be OK. And one day, it will feel natural and joyful for everyone.
For the next generation's sake, we deserve a country where Waitangi Day is filled with happiness, shared pride, and true celebration, not endless retraumatisation or division that some seem hooked on.
Our nation, like so many others, went through tough "birthing pains" at its founding.
Nation building brought real pain, and we've been working through them ever since.
Yet right now, it feels like we're being deliberately held back in a prolonged, painful labour when progress and healing are possible.
Why?
Because forces, imported from overseas over the last 15 years, have amplified grievances and turned partnership into perpetual conflict.
That "woke" mind virus, as it's often called, landed here and bore fruit: It has set back genuine civil rights progress by decades.
The practical, get-on-with-life approach our parents' generation embodied, building families, working hard, and getting along, has been undermined by a new wave of activists (Maori and Pakeha alike) riding the grievance gravy train.
Look at our own families, and so many like ours: mixed-race marriages where everyone got along perfectly fine. These pics are of our son with his cousins and niece.
Our kids and grandkids are living proof, blended families with multiple heritages, no drama (beyond usual family issues), just love and memories made.
Race has never been an issue in our homes, and it's not for the vast majority of everyday Kiwis either.
So what keeps setting us back?
A top-down, academic, globalist agenda that's past its use-by date. It pushes re-division under the guise of justice, but it doesn't serve the working class, who are too busy paying bills, raising kids, and holding the country together to care about elite-driven identity politics.
America seems to have started emerging from the worst of it, and there's real hope we can too.
We've lived the partnership the Treaty envisioned. So let's keep saying it, proudly and unapologetically: Happy Waitangi Day!
May it one day truly feel like a celebration for all of us, one people, one nation, moving forward together.
Let's build that brighter tomorrow, for the sake of our children, if nothing else.

Who is it who tries to divide this nation,
manufacturing friction
and imposing its alien will on us?
Who is it that would turn our blessed land
into a place where there is hatred
and division among its peoples?
Where does the greed and hatred arise?
It’s been fed to us by those who use
it as an instrument
to work their will.
The spirit of our land has brought many nationalities together.
All of us have come from over seas,
drawn by the call to create together
something wondrous and unique.
Have strength to resist both alien invaders
and indigenous traitors
who would drown out the song that each one hears –
the song that sounds so sweetly and harmoniously
in every heart.
Alien invaders and indigenous traitors - traitors foreign and domestic - they are very active, as Hannah’s article above states. A “woke mind virus … “imported from overseas”. It’s up to us to fight against that lie and reclaim our country.
It seems to me that the torrents of truth that are coming through everywhere are making things really ready for change. What actually brings the changes though, can only be ourselves. We the people of New Zealand.

Did you know….The Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) has blocked an attempt to uncover documents detailing a 1982 raid on Elm Guest House.
I’m wondering if these documents have been blocked for a reason….waiting till the big truths come out on Epstein, Mandelson, Andrew and Blair etc…because of the magnitude of the trafficking and child SRA happening in this country and who’s involved. I do feel they are going to expose what was happening to the children all them years ago, it’s been happening well before Epstein. It seems that the UK is the epicentre in all this evil.

We were told POTUS must remain neutral for pure optical reasons as people begin to be indicted.
Trump is the one who set this entire thing in motion. By distancing himself, he psyopped his haters into taking the red pill about Pizzagate and Epstein. People still haven’t learned that he trolls the media into covering things they otherwise wouldn’t touch if they think they can use it to “get Trump.” Many such cases, works every time. If Trump says leave Clinton alone, then liberals will think he must be guilty and it won’t look like a partisan persecution when he is prosecuted.

The Daily Mail has reported that, “He suggested he had stayed ‘four days’, but in truth Andrew enjoyed the pedophile’s hospitality for nine days, with the scheming financier organizing a dizzying timetable of meetings and parties – starting with a ‘facial’ cosmetic treat, the Daily Mail’s analysis of the latest cache of emails reveals. Epstein even told Andrew he had arranged ‘a car and driver for your use for the week’.”

SEAN PLUNKET’S "THE PLATFORM" JUST BLOCKED US LIKE A LEFTY BIT$H

It's not often we comment on Sean Plunket’s content. Occasionally we do and invariably he or his staffers always resort to his favourite personal attack, screaming "cookers"!
Today his fb page was complaining about RNZ publishing articles about "conspiracy theory click bait" regarding the Epstein files.
I decided to write a comment and as you will see it was civil yet holding him accountable.
Is this really a man who's platform values free speech or cares about the biggest global story?
A story that should concern every single human, given that leaders worldwide are caught up in child abuse (the most heinous imaginable), child trafficking, blackmail and all sorts of other nefarious activities?
The comments show people are awake and not happy with his own editorial decision to put the Epstein scandal in the too hard basket where he even described it as mis and disinformation.
Of course there is much that has been put out to muddy the waters, but to not even try to clarify, speaks volumes.
I was engaging respectfully with others on the page to then realise I had been blocked. This is something I would expect from mainstream media and woke lefties, not someone who prides themselves on being a bastion of free speech.
Check out my comment and tell me if anything I said deserved being blocked and shut out of the conversation.
