A sustained and orchestrated attack campaign has been waged by the state against ‘Counterspin Media’.

The goal: to carefully construct a narrative for public consumption that paints ‘Counterspin’ in the worst way possible. It is our belief that the recent arrests of the Executive Producers and Hosts of ‘Counterspin’ [Kelvyn Alp and Hannah Spierer], are to silence the one media organisation that stands true to its no-nonsense ‘facts and evidence’ based ethos. The real fourth estate.

Kelvyn and Hannah were arrested on Thursday 25th August 2022 and charged with allegations relating to ‘objectionable’ material. The alleged offense; a link to an offshore site containing parts of a documentary investigation into the “Christchurch Massacre” shared on ‘Telegram’. All electronics including production equipment, mobile phones, drives and computers were seized.

It seems the state via its Chief Censor, believes it’s the sole arbiter of what information people have access to. Kelvyn and Hannah reject these allegations.

‘Counterspin Media’ have at least four open investigations into Government, Police and State Service corruption, including, but not limited to crimes against humanity. We believe this current action is an attempt to shut down our ability to bring information of vital public interest/importance to the people.

It is the opinion and position of ‘Counterspin Media’ that the New Zealand Government has become an internationally influenced criminal organisation working against the interests of the people. As with all criminals, we believe they wilfully and freely violate and conceal their fiduciary responsibilities and laws of equity.

We are thankful for the overwhelming support we are receiving from you, the people. We shall not cower, back down or shy away from our steadfast belief that the people are the highest authority on this land and as such are not subject to restrictions in anyway, save physical harm being caused and a victim created.

To all those that have subjugated themselves to the state’s indoctrinated mind-set, we say this; we are fighting and standing for you also, whether you realise it or not.

STUFF ARE FULL OF S#$!

On Friday of last week, Nadine Porter from Stuff wrote an article titled "Rise in hostility since conspiracy theory arrests....." Apparently a theory can be arrested now, not just a person. This ironic misuse of the English language actually gives us an insight into the mind of a coincidence theorist. They don't just hate us, they hate our ideas and wish to criminalise thoughts themselves.

The very concept of "Hate speech" is a modern interpretation of the "thought crime" from George Orwell's Nineteen Eighty Four, in which a society is propagandised by a government with a self proclaimed monopoly on truth. This also gives us an insight into the mind of Jacinda Ardern and her team of $55 million, who claimed to be "the only source of truth" during the "pandemic."

Why does it pain these people that other have a different point of view? Why does Kate Hannah from “The Disinformation Project" not recognise that we used to be able to have differing opinions on issues, without being criminalised. In fact, intellectual freedom to ask the hard questions, such as why was there no cost/benefit analysis of lockdowns carried out, is exactly what constitutes a free, democratic and transparent society. Truth does not fear investigation, but liars and our media certainly do. The fact that Kate Hannah and her circle of internet sleuths ranging from the creepy Byron Clarke to the dangerous convicted terrorist whose name rhymes with Kumara, fail to even give us (the thought criminals) a right of reply, surely shows their intent is to not find truth in matters, but to declare themselves the victors. No contest of ideas, they declare themselves the moral supremacists because they say nice, cute, fluffy things like "diversity and inclusiveness" whilst they have intolerance to our diverse views and won't include us in society without masks, vaccines and monolithic thought patterns.

Even scientists used to debate big issues, now they all have to agree with every state sponsored agenda from vaccines to climate change, else they are defunded, or stricken off- like many of our best doctors and nurses who dare ask the wrong questions. How is it our ideas can be deemed "dangerous" before something as serious as a rushed experimental vaccine is proven safe? Now that the overwhelming data is coming out on our side, the establishment media across the western world are desperate to smear those who said it all along.

It's been revealed that the British government did no analysis of the potential impact of lockdowns prior to doing so and now it's widely agreed that more lives were lost directly and indirectly through such an authoritarian action than due to Covid (even using the inflated official Covid numbers). Unknown deaths are also surging across the UK, Canada and New Zealand, particularly in younger age brackets who were not at risk....all of this will continue to come out in support of our views and skepticism towards the government, so the media have to keep personally attacking and demonising us.
The media use every logical fallacy in the book- appeal to authority, appeal to popularity and their favourite, appeal to emotion! Claims that "conspiracy theorists" have threatened to rape or kill MP's are media lines designed to turn the average kiwi against us. However, even if those comments in group chats with thousands of people have occurred, those are not actions we support or will carry out, whereas this government really did rape us- they locked us in our homes for over a year, they taxed us all via printing 30% more dollars and causing an explosion in prices, they silenced us all and violently coerced us to take vaccines or else, loss of jobs, families, friends was just the consequence of our choices they told us- nothing to do with them manufacturing consequences so as to bend us to their will.

These reasons and more are why we must remain vigilant, skeptical and questioning of power and not be told our views are "too far out" to be accepted in daily discourse.

As Orwell said, Freedom is the right to tell people what they don't want to hear. Our ideas are not injuring or impoverishing people, we want a nation of open debate on the big issues and the uncomfortable subjects, as controversial conversations are preferable to this huge mess and division we find ourselves in.

OPEN CHALLENGE TO STUFF AND FACT TO TELL THE TRUTH


Stuff NZ and Fighting Against Conspiracy Theories Aotearoa (FACT) repeatedly claim we are spreading “disinformation”. When they themselves either lie, misrepresent or omit the truth on a daily basis.


Disinformation by definition is deliberate manipulation of information to direct or control an audience down a certain line of thought. Disinformation campaigns were historically created by governments and intelligence agencies to manufacture consent, steer elections and even over throw rival governments. For example on August 19 2013, the CIA publicly admitted for the first time its involvement in the 1953 coup against Iran's elected Prime Minister Mohammad Mossadegh.


Our question to Stuff and FACT is how can you be certain we are deliberately pushing disinformation and do not genuinely hold the views we express about masks, vaccines and the political climate in NZ?


Are you psychics or are you just parroting the typical armchair psychology assumptions of “why people believe in conspiracies”?


You call us “conspiracy theorists” as if that in and of itself is an argument. It’s not, because conspiracies happen, a plan in secret by two or more people is a conspiracy by definition. We don’t have the agreements or communications between the Ardern government and Pfizer because they are secret, is that accidental or intentional?


Just last week an Australian Journalist Avi Yemini was denied entry into New Zealand to prevent him covering the Wellington protests. Was that due to him actually being a danger to our national security, or was it a “conspiracy” by Police to try manufacture an argument to not let him in, because they had a motive to do such? Well leaked Interpol emails clearly show the conspiracy theory to be a fact!


Disinformation project researcher Dr Sanjana Hattotuwa claims we use distasteful and mean words, but are these actually factual arguments or just appeals to emotion and critique of style? 


Why does the style of our speech matter more than the substance of the governments physical, legal and societal force against us over the last couple of years? If it’s true that there are excess deaths in young people, wrongly fired hard working kiwis and people needlessly driven into poverty by overzealous and unreasonable Covid mandates, then isn’t anger justified and expected?


The people who try to moralise about our reactions, conveniently never focus on their actions which motivated them. They are akin to bullies, punching someone every day for years, stealing their lunch, destroying their relationships, only to cry when the victim finally calls them a F@#?! and punches them square in the face.


Well, we the people of New Zealand can only take so much, not all of us are apathetic. Some of us have passion, willpower and desire to right the wrongs that are so clear to any honest objective person. We will not be intimidated anymore and we will not use only speech which pleases the holier-than-thou journalists and their fellow travellers. Where they failed to do their jobs, people are organically filling the void and we will continue to push until the dam breaks and the evidence is in the light of day for all Kiwis to see. 


Calling us X-phobic isn’t an argument, in the same way us calling mainstream  media “conspiracy phobic” isn’t an argument but a silly adjective. So why doesn’t Kate Hannah and her motley crew of sun deprived Twitter “academics” actually present some facts and evidence which prove us wrong. Show us the vaccines lowered transmission so the mandates were justified, show us that the economic toll of lockdowns isn’t a net harm to society, show us a study that masks stop transmission….the facts are not on their side which is why they must constantly ignore the reasons for our malcontent and simply moralise about our “vulgar” language.

These are the same people who are never polite in person, refuse to go on the Platform or show a breakdown of their taxpayer funding and cry “rape and abuse” as they destroy our once great country through their vile propaganda. 


One final note, if you have not already, take a look at the largely ignored vaccine injured kiwis, the pain in their eyes and stories of being shunned by their doctors and not being taken seriously by family members who saw them as “conspiracy theorists”.

Ask yourself what’s worse, the crime of physically harming and marginalising innocent people or the words of Kelvyn or any of us genuinely and rightfully angry and concerned kiwis who care for our fellow New Zealanders.
