Biden-favored EV bus maker Proterra goes bust and leaves a trail of broken and irreparable buses
The company that Biden toured virtually In April 2021 to promote his infrastructure plan, which includes replacing diesel-powered school and transit buses with electric vehicles, has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.
This is also the company that Jennifer Granholm was a board member of, prior to being appointed as Biden’s Energy Secretary. She sold her holdings in the company at that time and is reported to have netted $1.6M.
Communities that purchased these EV buses now essentially have with assorted issues and parts that they have reportedly been unable able to obtain to repair them. Additionally, the cost is reported to be astronomical.
