I took a loan against rings at 3% and immediately put the $TON into @GiftToCreditBot at 13% 🤷 The main thing is to set reminders to extend the loan and keep getting $TON out of thin air.

In one of my summer posts I promised another giveaway—here it is. This time you don’t need a premium subscription; everyone can join 🫡

Thousands of bots rushed to join the giveaway — the operators clearly have a well-oiled system. The @Roxman Gifts Giveaway app lacks a CAPTCHA. Sure, CAPTCHA-solving can be automated or outsourced, but advanced systems like Google reCAPTCHA, Cloudflare Turnstile, and hCaptcha can’t be fully cracked. They factor in behavior patterns, browser telemetry, and server reputation — so in most cases, only real people using real browsers can solve them.

These solutions cost over $3 per 1,000 hard CAPTCHA solves. So now bot operators would need to spend $30 for 10,000 accounts just for a chance to win prizes that may not even be worth that much. The economics break down, and it stops being worth it. As a result, the number of bots drops significantly.

Limiting giveaways to Premium users also solves the problem, but at the cost of excluding real followers who don’t pay for Premium. Right now, seeing the wave of bots, I’ve decided to run another giveaway — this time with a black background — but only for Premium subscribers.

Feel free to send all four boosts. The flood of bots has lowered the channel’s rating and even disabled auto-translation for non-Russian-speaking followers.

New Year comeback of the tap-to-earn games 🎄

Getgems just launched a New Year mini-app with a small game, tasks, an advent calendar, a referral system, and in-app purchases — feels like the good old 2024 vibes.

They promise about $400,000 in prizes. The app itself has a nice pre-holiday atmosphere. I wouldn’t recommend buying anything inside, but you can jump in, look around, tap a bit in your free time. Lots of raffles, all happening on December 29.

If you play, aim for the highest level you can. There are already 1.3M players, and for something like the iPhone raffle at level 2 basically everyone will participate — meaning almost no chance. But the higher the level, the less competition and the better the odds. On the last, 100th level, they’re raffling off a Plush Pepe.

100 LVL Done ✅

Reached level 100 in the game without spending a cent. Tasks on Getgems and Wallet give a lot of energy, which helps you level up fast.

I tried to progress while spending as little as possible. Bought a floor Snoop Dogg on Getgems and sold another one from a different wallet for a bit more. Not sure if you can immediately resell the same item. For the off-chain gift requirement, I used a Birthday Candle I hadn’t moved anywhere yet, so it cost me nothing.

I normally avoid Wallet, but for the energy boost I deposited 40 $TON and staked it. You can withdraw anytime, no lock period — the only question is whether they’ll let you withdraw later.

At level 100 you get access to a channel — at least two of them: RU and EN. The English one has about 1,600 people, the Russian one around 10k. They’re currently running a giveaway of 9 Heroic Helmets (floor ~$300), but only the top 1,200 players can participate, which is around 170k XP. I’m at 115k for now.

Lost Dogs: Signals

The game we waited a whole year for is finally out. I was one of the testers, but during testing we weren’t allowed to leak anything.

Mixed feelings so far. First, I expected more — and honestly, Lost Dogs: The Way feels more interesting to me, including the design. In the new game you have to influence a detective storyline every day by sending YES or NO signals. When the pointer reaches one of the outcomes, the round ends — and you either win or lose $TON depending on the direction you were signaling.

NFT holders get free unlimited signals they can send every minute, but $WOOF holders get nothing 🤷
I was surprised by this decision, and during the small pump a week ago I sold 20M $WOOF I had bought for $TON back in August. Ended up with more $TON from that trade. But I’m not selling all my WOOF yet — I still have way more than 20M, and maybe they’ll come to their senses and give the token a proper use case.
