Svatove
AFU main focus seems to be north and south around
Novoselivs'ke and Ploshchanka. The progress is slow at best at this point. With reinforcements arriving for both sides, it's not unlikely we will be at a stand still for a longer period of time.

Siversk
RuAF stepped up the activity in this area, I believe this is to interfere with a protentional AFU attack on Kreminna from the south. Russian key position here is Verkhn'okam'yanka, which provides plant of cover and vantage points with open downhill terrain to the west.

Bakhmut
Increased intensity in this area today after a calmer period. The Russian attempts to assault head on in to Bakhmut is complete madness in my opinion. There was a video released yesterday with about 25-30 dead Russians at the Bakhmut approach.

Donetsk - Zaporizhzhia
There were no reports of RU attacks on this section which is unusual. I suspect RuAF are preparing for an attacking with the coming dry weather. I believe we might see some large scale attempt by Russia to advance in the areas marked by magenta arrows.

This area is important for logistic reasons. The railroad indicated in green here in range of Ukrainian 155mm artillery.

The other railroad supply route to the southern front is over the Kerch bridge which is not able to operate at full capacity, and it's possibly just 1 smoking accident away from being disabled.

Bad news from #Mariinka where Russian invasion forces reached the city center after 8 months of stiff resistence by Ukrainian defenders.
Russia now controls almost half of the strategic city S-W of Deonetsk.

Today, the US announced a new, $400 million security package for Ukraine. It contains:

- Additional munitions for NASAMS SAM systems;

- 150 heavy machine guns with thermal imagery sights to counter UAVs;

- Additional ammunition for HIMARS;

- 10,000 120mm mortar rounds;

- Unspecified number of AGM-88 HARM air-to-surface anti-radiation missiles;

- 150 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles (HMMWVs);

- Over 100 light tactical vehicles;

- Over 20,000,000 rounds of small arms ammunition;

- Over 200 generators;

- Spare parts for 105mm howitzers and other equipment.
