New test builds of HyperOS based on Android 16 have been spotted on Xiaomi servers. Some of them are marked .PRE, indicating their early status — they are not yet intended for public release.

☄️ Is testing of HyperOS 3 already in the active phase?

⏺ This is indicated by a response from one of the developers through the Report app. He implied that some bugs will only be fixed in the new version of the shell.

📌 What bugs are we talking about?:
— HyperOS 3 will fix HDR bugs in Redmi K70, K70 Pro, and Xiaomi 14
— These issues will not be resolved in HyperOS 2.2
— Support for native HDR + Xiaomi HDR will only be implemented in OS3.0

🟢 P.S. so there will be no HyperOS 26, as some websites and TG channels wrote, having fallen for a very dubious source.
🔵 P.S.S. there are no release schedules for HyperOS 3 as of today, and it definitely will not be released in August.
