Louisiana Gov. Edwards rejects House committee’s decision on COVID-19 vaccine for students

“BATON ROUGE, La. (KSLA) - Governor John Bel Edwards has rejected a decision made by the House Committee on Health and Welfare to not require Louisiana students to be vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning the vaccination WILL BE ADDED to the school immunization schedule.”

UPDATE: “The governor’s office says all current opt-out provisions for parents will remain in place, meaning no child will be forced to get vaccinated if their parents object to it in writing.”

FDA Strengthens Warning Over Severe Condition Linked to Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 Vaccine

“Blood clots and low blood platelet levels, known as thrombosis with thrombocytopenia syndrome (TTS), are now listed as a contradiction, or a medical reason for somebody not to get the shot.

TTS has been reported in ‘a wide range of individuals 18 years and older’.

About 15 percent of the TTS cases have been fatal.”

New American Heart Association Study: Clinically Suspected Myocarditis Temporally Related to COVID-19 Vaccination in Adolescents and Young Adults

Of the suspected myocarditis cases:
- All patients had elevated troponin T (N=28, 0.61 ng/mL, IQR 0.25-1.30)
> Normal range: below 0.04 ng/ml
> Probable heart attack: above 0.40 ng/ml
- 77.3% had abnormal cMRI’s
- 69.8% had abnormal ECG’s and/or arrhythmias
- 18.7% admitted to ICU
- 18.7% had left ventricular ejection fraction (reduced pumping function)
