ill probably make some pages of his notebook later since making worn paper texture was lots of fun :3 he had his diary in his pocket when he died which brought it here with him to the lighthouse. nothing he puts down on paper lasts there as long as he completely remembers all the words and pen strokes. with each fragment lost from his mind the one on paper fades away too. that's why unlike joe he's reluctant to sleep.

i don't really know if making concepts like the way i do here with my characters by starting from their bare body is standard or common ?? but it helps me SO much to get to know the shapes i draw for each character later
i often find myself storytelling through how a person's body looks. like ive looked at hundreds of references of professional female athletes in different sports for my other oc #cas and im still looking for more realism. its really neat how our body changes according to what we do with it :D

i think this was the first time i tried doing it this way 😭

and this is still super inspiring
