π Cere Blockchain Explorer Issue: fixing πͺ
Quick update on a recent issue in our blockchain explorer that some of you reported over the weekend. The problem stems from non-synchronized primitives with the latest polkadot-js, which has caused inconsistencies within the explorerβs UI system. This was triggered by the deployment of runtime 1.4 to mainnet.
I would like to reassure everyone that this issue is limited to the explorer interface. There is no impact on any core blockchain operations, including staking, rewards, or other critical functionalities π
A fix is being rolled out and the procedures have been updated to prevent this from happening in future updates. π ETA for fix: tomorrow π·π»ββοΈ
Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused and we appreciate your patience as we implement the necessary updates π€

π Update on the Cere Explorer: πͺ
The initial UI problem is solved, but some of you reported one last bug that regarding how validator rewards are displayed.
Summary of the issue:
- A validatorβs rewards for a specific era were manually triggered using the staking.payoutStakers call.
- The rewards were correctly credited to the validatorβs account, as verified by the free balance before and after the payout.
- Despite the payout being processed successfully on-chain, the validator does not appear under the "recently claimed" section in the PolkadotJS Appsβ targets tab.
TLDR:
On-chain payout mechanics are functioning as expected & the block explorer UI (or related API interactions) is not accurately reflecting the updated state.
If you have encountered a similar issue or have insights into this, please reach out to Bren.
Thank you for your patience and support as we work to ensure an accurate and transparent user experience π€
