🔘The Cellframe community has made its choice: next year, 2 million CELL CF-20 tokens will be issued as rewards for block signature validators and participants in the Cellframe staking program.

🔺 We’ve got great news! CyStack has published the results of a comprehensive security and functionality audit of the Cellframe protocol! You can check out the report here.

As part of the preparation for the launch of the two-way bridge mode, we released a major update to the Cellframe Node (version 5.3). Following this, we conducted an internal review of the code for vulnerabilities and then submitted it for an external audit. The experts at CyStack carried out an in-depth analysis of the codebase, architecture, and network interaction protocols between nodes, as well as the protocols connecting nodes to external services. Their goal was to identify potential vulnerabilities and assess the system’s resilience against various types of attacks.

We implemented all of their recommendations and received a final positive conclusion from the experts.

It’s now official — the Cellframe protocol is secure! Verified by independent developers! ☑️

🔥 Based on the results of the recent vote among CELL CF-20 holders, we have updated the staking rewards for validators! These changes are effective today, and the new reward distribution is as follows:

The total reward pool is 2M CELL. Of this amount, 1M CELL will go to staking, and 1M CELL will be allocated to validators.

• Resolved the issue of wallets and certificates being deleted during node updates.
• Migrated all node data — configs, chains, and certificates — to a new directory: /Library/Application Support/CellframeNode/. This change protects your data from accidental deletion and eliminates the need to re-download chains.

☑️ Fixes and improvements:
• Added reinitialization of configs when installing a new node version over an old one.
• Fixed an issue with early UNIX socket initialization that could prevent JSON requests from being sent. Dashboard now correctly updates paths and retries the connection.
• Improved display of logs, certificates, and the node version.
• Fixed the connection indicator for the node.
• Ensured proper node updates while the Dashboard is open.

⭐️ Great news! NYS, the native token of the Node.sys project, is now available on the Cellframe mainnet!

You can now transfer the NYS token between the Backbone and BSC networks using the Cellframe bridge.

🔘Minimum transfer amount: 200 NYS

Additionally, the NYS token is already available for trading on the Cellframe DEX.
