Bleep called Damarri Conner was sentenced to 14½ years in federal prison for a 2023 backyard carjacking in Beverly. Prosecutors said Conner and Kenneth Merritt rushed a family after they got home, attacked the mother, robbed her, and held the family at gunpoint before stealing their Audi. Authorities said Conner later returned using stolen keys and took a second vehicle from the home. Merritt also pleaded guilty and is awaiting sentencing.
