🇨🇦 #Canada. At approximately 8:20 pm on May 12, 2026, Surrey Police Service (SPS) responded to a report of two groups of men fighting at a residence near 133 Street and 89 Avenue. Upon arrival, officers located six males with varying degrees of injuries.

Residents of a central Alberta municipality have been asked to prepare for a possible evacuation as a nearby wildfire burns out-of-control.

A wildfire advisory is in effect for southwest Clearwater County, located about 145 kilometres west of Red Deer, Alta.

The wildfire is burning near Highway 734, about three kilometres northwest of the Highway 584 junction, according to an Alberta Emergency Alert issued shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday.

Officials said campers, motorists and people located in the backcountry within 10 kilometres of the affected area should leave the region immediately.

Although residents in the area are being asked to prepare for an evacuation, no mandatory orders have been issued since the alert was first published, but that could have changed from time of this posting.
