After spending hours and hours sifting through the trail the dev had left on-chain, there's reason to believe this could be a pretty big play, yet still with it's inherent risks (explained towards the end)

Thesis:

Originally discovered $CHKN pre-launch, the idea was that since the dev had spent roughly $250k worth of ETH on tx fees airdropping pepe holders, that this would be relatively safe for the trouble it was for the team to do. After launch they had also burnt 69 ETH initial LP, which would equate to the team being $500k out of pocket with also a 0/0% tax launch style. very fair.

Reaching an ATH of 90m with first day volume around 120-160m, it quickly started trending downwards with the team disengaging themselves from pretty much all responsibility or marketing efforts besides maintaining their TG.

Why did they take a step back and let this die? It had been heavily sniped at launch (even with a 1% max tx) and my assumption is that the team didn't have any chance to buy up the supply that they had been hoping to purchase, nor did their market maker that they brought onboard, specifically wintermute.

How do we know it's wintermute?

Their top holder of 13% transferred all of their tokens from a wallet that was directly funded from wintermutes public wallet with roughly 5-6m USD worth of ETH and was top blasting with an avg entry of 40-50m, putting them down roughly $4-5m dollars at their all-time Low of 6m MC, and yet they still hold to this day.

Now after realizing that it was still heavily sniped, and they were just being used as exit lp, they decided to stop all efforts and the team hasn't done anything since then. today however, wintermute has once again transferred in $1.5m USDC to one of the wallets that had been buying $CHKN in order to pay for listings, specifically MEXC and Gate.io.

Whoever is behind it has had ample time to accumulate and shake out snipers. It had also recently bottomed around 6-7m and from who I personally believe the dev to be, has finally spoken in their telegram chat again today after 2 months of inactivity. Definitely not a coincidence that he appears, wintermute adds another $1.5m USDC to buy with, and the price rises this heavily on thick LP.

Fortunately there is also much more definitive on-chain data pointing to who the team is and who personally is behind this, however, I'll give them the benefit of the doubt before doxxing who they are as they have said they want to stay anonymous.

RISKS:

Could still be too early to buy and a better entry will come. They've mentioned that they're doing an AMA on the 9th of June however:

- This team is notoriously famous for disengaging until they decide to push it properly themselves. It took them 2-3 months alone to update a website and they pretty much have 0 concept of managing a meme token that geared towards the community.

I guess the real question is have they been doing it on purpose this entire time or are they intentionally playing dumb? I prefer the latter.

- The other risk is that the wallet that has recently transferred in $1.5m USDC, has not begun buying yet, and wintermute still holds 13% of the supply, albeit at a fairly disadvantaged entry point.

This is a part 1 of all our on-chain analysis on $CHKN, who is behind it, and what they have been doing that they have not been disclosing publicly. This does not cover all of the information compiled and defintitely not the teams intentions. Only they know what their true intentions are with this project and this thread is mainly just used for educational purposes to our community to display our thought process on investing and holding thus far.
