anyone notice how this time that Cali is on fire, the news are actually panicking over it because *gasp* it destroyed a mostly-rich neighborhood rather than acres upon acres of wilderness or poor peoples' living areas

A fire is still a fire, and is bad whoever/wherever it strikes, but it's just interesting to me how it only gets the attention it requires now that the rich are inconvenienced
