Tomorrows event in Stratford is dedicated to Sam Goody.
Sadly I never got to know her that well or work with her much, however i know one thing though, if Mark holds her in such high regard she must have been something special.
I was lucky enough to speak to Sam a few months ago. I invited her to our event in Birmingham as a guest and nothing more based on the situation but sadly due to the circumstances she couldn't make it.
Sam's passing reminds me of how we should value the incredible people we are surrounded by, brought together through crises. The great souls we are blessed to encounter while they and we are still here and stood together shoulder to shoulder.

What an absolutely incredible day we had in Stratford today. Due to the demographic admittedly its never the easiest place to go regardless of the towns pristine scenery but the energy between us all was so high and maybe somewhat forged in fire through time.
Today was out of respect and in memory of Sam, or friend, our ally, our super trooper who shone her light for you, for me, and for liberty.

So how is it numerous people from our event aren't up on the same charge as their were numerous people holding flares that day. On the stage in a controlled environment.

BRITISH LIONS FOR FREEDOM

I'll be releasing a statement regarding British Lions For Freedom in due course.

For now I'd just like to say thank you to Beverley Shaw Jenny Richards Wayne Morrison Nicol Freedom and especially Katherine Blair who managed to bring us all together once again on Saturday and distribute 1900 light papers and leaflets.
Without Katherine it probably wouldn't have happened but credit to everyone for genuinely putting the cause and the BLFF brand first.

The statement below is copied and pasted from Beverley Shaw.

Yesterday in London, we came together — people from different walks of life, with different views, and even with our own disagreements. But what stood out was not what divides us, but what unites us.

We showed that we can set aside personal differences and work side by side for something greater than ourselves. We agreed to disagree where we must, but we also agreed to stand together where it matters most.

The cause is bigger than the individual. What we did yesterday was proof that unity doesn’t require us to think the same, but it does require us to care enough to keep moving forward together.

Our gathering was not about one voice or one opinion. It was about the collective strength that comes when we choose purpose over pride, respect over resentment, and courage over comfort.

Yesterday in London, we proved that division will not win. We stood together for the right reasons — and that unity is what will carry us forward.

If you put 100 black ants and 100 red ants in a jar, nothing happens. But if you shake the jar hard, they start fighting until they destroy each other. The red ants think the black ants are the enemy, and the black ants think the red ants are the enemy.

But the real enemy is the one shaking the jar. The same thing happens in human society. Before we fight each other, we should ask: who is shaking the jar?

I think this is classed as HYPER vigilant behaviour 🤣

-Talk to small shops and businesses about the implications for them
-Keep the street stall running
-Participate in some creative actions to get the public interested!
