For those new to the evidence on ivermectin, here is a piece of recent ivermectin history.
This 2020 study by Caly and others early in the health emergency showed the huge potential of ivermectin to obliterate SARS CoV-2 in 48 hours.
However this study has been used by the FDA and other authorities to ‘show’ that ivermectin couldn’t possibly work against covid in humans because these researchers used high doses of ivermectin in their monkey cell study - ignoring the fact that the authors have stated that they used an arbitrary amount of ivermectin in their experiment and numerous clinical studies since have shown that ivermectin works in humans at the usual doses.

Guatemala and Bolivia are now also implementing this program. This is going in the right direction - this is what it looks like when public servants have a genuine interest in finding a solution and protecting the population.
