β‘πΊπ¦π¬π· A Ukrainian drone struck the Greek tanker Skiros in the Black Sea after it had loaded oil at the port of Novorossiysk on August 16, the Greek Skai television channel reported.
The TV channel released a video of the attack featuring a drone carrying out a reconnaissance flight over the sea, and then striking the deck bridge of a Greek tanker.
A fire breaks out immediately after the strike, though it is unclear whether any crew members have been injured, the television channel noted.
It is believed that the attack was carried out by a drone operated by the Ukrainian authorities, who have recently carried out similar attacks on tankers loaded with oil from this Russian port, it said.

THE 4 MAJOR PROBLEMS OF THE 4 MAJOR POWERS β AUGUST 2026
Inflation is cooling. Prices are not. Energy is becoming a weapon. And confidence is becoming the real battlefield.
πͺπΊ 1. EU: UNITY + COST-OF-LIVING PRESSURE
The EU is not collapsing β but the political and economic pressures are becoming harder to ignore.
Migration continues to divide member states. Debt creates tension between heavily indebted southern economies and more fiscally conservative countries in the north. Defense spending is rising while governments are already under pressure from households.
Euro-area inflation was 2.8% in June, down from 3.2% in May. But lower inflation does not mean lower prices β it simply means prices are rising more slowly.
Consumer confidence has actually improved in recent months, but it remains below its long-term average. Employment expectations have also weakened.
The real European problem is therefore not simply inflation.
It is growth + debt + energy + political fragmentation.
If another major energy or financial shock arrives, the question will be whether Europe can respond with a united fiscal and political strategy.
