While ATOR is in testnet, the relays that our community have brought up that interact with our protocol are relaying real bandwidth on Tor’s mainnet. As such, we are committed to holding the highest standards in ensuring that the relays registered are integrated and aligned with all relay guidelines.

Recently, we have found certain aspects of the relay setup for our protocol have become misaligned with the Tor Project. We are in direct contact with the Tor team, and we are taking active steps to make the modifications necessary to align with the highest privacy standards. To start, we are making a change to the recommended configuration for relays to better obscure operators’ personal information, and get them actively relaying bandwidth again.

We have had a productive meeting with our recently onboarded, specialized subteam from the Forte group.

Having confirmed our new focus after these in-depth meetings, we are pleased to announce that our existing protocol and hardware will not be made redundant, and that active development is already underway for the new network. We are also aiming to adhere to near-term targets around hardware.

We exist to serve you, atornauts. We are fighting for you and fighting for our mission to make true internet anonymity the norm for everyone. Our runway is stronger than it's ever been - we are fully funded for this venture - and we are looking forward to our next engineering meeting to share further updates and see our vision materialize. 🛠 Development Update

Arweave L2 developments continue! We have completed the deployment and integration of our own DRE node, currently syncing to our distribution contract. The DRE node is a crucial part in evaluating the immutable SmartWeave transactions that form L2 activity, to allow our oracle to work back to ETH. This setup will continue to play a role in delivering incentives for our new network.

Relay redemption is live on our NFT portal!

This portal allows existing Atornauts NFT holders to redeem their NFT, pay the remaining 250 ATOR and collect their relay at ETH Denver.

❗️Only redeem your NFT if you are willing and able to physically collect at ETH Denver

The redemption process involves approving 250 ATOR and your Atornauts NFT to be transferred by the redemption contract. The final transaction then initiates the swap and mints you a new NFT - RELAYUP - the reward multiplier.

Following community request, there are multiple times at Denver to collect your relay:

📍Wednesday, 28th February - R3al World @ ETHDenver (10AM to 8PM)

📍Thursday, 29th February - our event at Zodiac Haus (9PM to 12AM)
