Pkhachich - traditional Circassian (Adyge) wooden percussion
Traditionnaly played as one or pare in both hands, together with kamyl (flute), shichepshin (bowl instrument) or pshine (traditional accordion).
Comes in pare. Each clapper consist of one base plank and 5 moving planks.
Materials: ash wood, leather.
Name trascription variants: pkhatsich, pkhatsych, pkhacych
