Insane Interview with HTS Leader in Times of Israel
In the interview, the rebel leader expressed a desire for peaceful relations with Israel and even praised Israeli strikes on Hezbollah and Iranian infrastructure in Syria multiple times. He wants not only full normalization with the entity, but he also hinted at procuring Western reconstruction aid and for Israel to "plant a rose in the Syrian garden."
HTS now seeks to normalize relations with Israel—the very state instrumental in the destruction of Palestine, Syria, and Lebanon. While positioning themselves as liberators, they openly align with a country responsible for decades of occupation, ethnic cleansing, and destabilization across the Middle East.
Supporting the overthrow of Assad is telling Gaza that their sacrifices mean nothing.
