Well, as it turns out, CapCut (and apps such as TikTok Studio, Marvel Snap and Lemon8) still do not work in the United States. They are unavailable in the App Store and the Google Play Store and even if you manage to get access within the app, you won't get far without getting hit by the "Sorry, CapCut isn't available right now" screen. With CapCut also being the most used video editor for mobile, this is a pretty big concern.

I saw the whole reel, and all Mark has to say is "you can now do what you want, but don't be a jerk".
They are also introducing some rather good changes to their reporting system for accounts which now depends on the number of reports and reasoning from users instead of just blatantly using AI and keywords.
And also, people say this shit as if it's not already happening everywhere on Instagram.
